Amazing interior design! Friendly staff Little miscommunication with our order May get a little hot (no AC + spicy food) Mosquitoes (dinner time)

No doubt a beautiful restaurant away from the busier streets of Kata. The staff was friendly. But there was some miscommunication because we wanted iced tea but received hot tea. We also ordered an appetiser which came way after they cleared our main course (we also reminded the staff a few times).

Be prepared to get a little hot, as there are no AC units. Ceiling fans could be felt only at certain tables. We also got bitten by mosquitoes several times. Best bring some mosquito repellent and spray yourself down before entering.

The food was not bad! But also not extraordinary. There surely is room for improvement to enhance the restaurant experience.

The best food we had in Thailand. We wanted to try street food and other places but every time we did we just were disappointed it wasn’t as good. The restaurant has the most beautiful atmosphere— with tranquil water everywhere. And the service (as always in Thailand) was wonderful. Guide, our server and aung-aing were always so warm and felt like they treated us like family. The steamed fish with chile, with lemongrass and the fried rice were our favorite dishes. But everything we ate was great. The food is more expensive than the street food but it was still very reasonable. Good traditional thai style environment, but it happened we couldn’t find anyone to ask for a service. It’s very dark at the tables in the corridor, we had to ask for an addition lamp to read the menu and to enjoy the food. We can’t say the food is good, the fish and the curry taste nothing! No salt, no many spice and not spicy at all. I think they just changed the flavor because we are foreigners but without even asking when we order the dishes. This is really bad! We like the authentic thai food, but this is not thai at all! All the dishes are super sweet and taste only sweet!
