Its a nice place. My 7 year old however had a little brush with jellyfish. The local ladies quickly came to our rescue and administered a local cure. There is a first aid center 100 mts away and we got help there as well. The only reason I have dropped a star is because there is no warning by life guards. People continued to swim in the water after the incident. Most were oblivious about the presence of jellyfish...

This was the second best beach in phuket, according to a very helpful cabbie. Much nicer than Patong, which is more for partiers. There is a neatly organized route of vendors on the "boardwalk" street behind the beach. Check out the restaurants on the south end, which are right on the sand with great views and...

There is a neatly organized route of vendors on the "boardwalk" street behind the beach. Check out the restaurants on the south end, which are right on the sand with great views and fresh seafood.
