Oriental Massage — Local services in Karon

My Husband and I chose a 60 min Thai Massage followed by a 90 min Oriental Deluxe Facial today. Before we had our treatments, I specifically told the therapists not to talk amongst each other if we are going to share a room and I put this on Google translate to ensure they understood. They advised me that they will not, BUT they did and by the look on my face my Husbands therapist knew to stop however this did not stop them from muttering to each other throughout our experience.

Did not wash our feet or provide slippers prior to the treatments.

No special clothes were provided for the Thai Massages. 20 minutes was spent patting our backs with a towel.

During our Facials they missed out a key step (black head removal) I then brung this to both of their attention and they replied, you both don't need. It doesn’t matter if they think we don’t “need it” we’ve paid for that package specifically and not the cheaper package which did not include that step. They then proceeded to include this but had I not have noticed, this would have been missed.

They also left out massaging our ”legs massage” which was also part of the Oriental Deluxe package and when I challenged my masseuse about this at the end of the service She said that she included this in my Thai massage. Which was a completely different service! She then disassociated herself with answering any other questions and stopped engaging with me whilst my Husbands Therapist pretended like she couldn’t hear.

DON’T PROMOTE PACKAGES WHEN YOU CANNOT COMPLETE A PACKAGE SERVICE WITHIN THE REQUIRED TIMEFRAME.

It’s a shame, because although the services were not great I would have still tipped, but that was sheer disrespect at it’t finest and we will NOT be returning.

As I was leaving I asked for her name and she ignored me and said “Sit I do massage” AS IF I WAS GOING TO LET HER TOUCH MY LEGS AFTER THAT!

I also want to mention that they all look miserable, uninterested and OLD, lack enthusiasm and warmth.

DO NOT GO THERE!!! It was my second time there and it's the worst experience ever! I've been in thailand for more than 1 years and been trying massage everywhere, this place looks fancy but once you start your treatment it turn in a night market, 1 hour pf massage they talked with each other loud and non stop, people moaning 2 cabins away, I took a couple massage with my girlfriend, between the massage one of the masseuse went out, came back in and left the curtain open, we didn't noticed at first because we were laying face down! I could hear people coming in and out just behind and they definitely saw me and my girlfriend butt naked while going to their cabin! So unprofessional, they should be sued for this, there is no privacy, you pay for a treatment but end up being expose to public. I say this with confidence because when I finished and walking out I saw people butt naked getting their massage down. Once again they are so noisy and the treatment nowhere close relaxing and enjoyable. Lastly, worst of all, it's been 24 hours and I swell on my vertebrate and it's very painful, can't even touch there, I said soft but the masseuse's been running her elbow on my vertebrate. This is not massage, this is torture. I don't understand how this place is still open and operating. Don't waste money there, there are many options...

I recently had a massage that was rather great and reasonably priced. However, the experience was marred by the chatty masseuse. They were talking at their usual volume throughout our 1 hour and 30-minute session, rather than whispering which I felt is polite if they really had to have a conversation.

Even though the massage itself was alright, we couldn't rest or nap and fully enjoy the session due to the constant noise.

Even more unprofessional was the behavior of the elderly group of masseuse. When a guest in another section let out gas, she loudly broadcasted it, causing her group of masseuses, including mine, to laugh out loud I felt bad for the other customer, as it’s only natural that such things might happen when you’re being tugged and stretched.
