Yor Yok Khlong San — Restaurant in Khlong San Subdistrict

I was there few time , ordering the usual Tom yam kum and white Jasmin rise , few beers , inexpensive and normal price for thai food , given the fact that is at river front , prices where reasonable., But the other night some family members came to visit BKK , and i had the idea to take them there . We oder BBQ Snapper , and Crab with Curry , steer fry sparagus , The Snapper was poorly cooked with all there insides , as we open the fish was not cooked at all, The 2 small Crabs , where cooked with shells , and server as is , ( dont talk about dentis bill next day ), almost broken my theeth trying to eat it, 1400++thb :( . The Vegetables , contain shrimp , that we clearly ask NO shrimp (allergic to it ), . 2 beers total was 3.328 thb. NOT only i dont recommend this Tourist Trap , i will never go again . Overprice , low quality . Avoid it like The plague...

Great location, you sit right on the river. Most foreigners don't know about it. Good food, reasonable prices, medium to upper Thai price range so a lot less than foreigner aimed restaurant. Has a large seafood selection and big menu. The best way to get there is by ferry across the river (4-5THB) from the pier between River City and the Sheraton hotel. You can see the restaurant from across the river. But once across the river even though it is very close there is no direct walk way to it, use Google maps to get there, you have to walk halfway through Klong San market then turn right, walk over the canal then right again to go back to the river...and Yok Yor. Great food, great prices, fantastic views of the river. This was our last night in Bangkok and we wanted to try something new within walking distance to the Hilton. Not hard to find and an easy walk. I don’t usually like fried rice, but this place was exceptional. The fried noodles were a bit on the spicy side, which I don’t mind at all, but if you don’t like spicy food, make sure to order it mild. The servers were great, very polite and attentive. There was also karaoke and salsa dancing inside. We sat outside to enjoy the evening and views of the busy river. Wish I had found this place earlier in my trip, I would have visited several...
