OXBO Bangkok — Restaurant in Khlong Ton Sai Subdistrict

OXBO at Millennium Hilton Bangkok is hands down one of the best riverside dining experiences I’ve had in the city. If you're looking for a dinner spot with spectacular views of the Chao Phraya River and ICONSIAM, this is it. In the evening, the scene comes alive with a beautiful light and water show, and fun neon-lit ferries gliding across the river—it adds such a magical, vibrant energy to the dining experience.

The service was exceptional from start to finish—attentive, warm, and professional. I also loved the open kitchen concept, where you can watch the chefs in action, which adds a dynamic and exciting feel to the space.

Now on to the food—we ordered quite a few dishes and each one was memorable:

Crudo (฿500) – Light and refreshing. The seabass was beautifully fresh and paired wonderfully with the orange truffle ponzu and balsamic caviar. Elegant and bright.

The Larder (฿750) – A generous charcuterie board with local artisanal cuts, crispy crystal bread, and housemade pickles. Great for sharing and full of flavor. (Note: contains wheat, nuts, and peanuts.)

River Prawn (฿700) – Perfectly cooked, coated in a deliciously spiced coconut milk sauce that was rich and aromatic.

Aus. Wagyu Short Rib (฿1,600) – Slow-cooked to perfection, incredibly tender with a deep flavor from the signature spice rub. Worth every baht.

Corn (฿250) – A side dish, but it seriously stood out. The miso butter added a savory umami kick that made it addictively good.

Marrow & Beef & Caviar (฿1,100) – An indulgent and beautifully plated dish with wagyu beef, quail yolk, and luscious bone marrow. The caviar was a luxurious touch.

We also tried a couple of cocktails:

Pina Clarify (฿450) – A clarified piña colada with clean, crisp notes of pineapple and coconut. Super refreshing!

Tammarin (฿400) – A standout drink! Whisky and tamarind isn’t a common combo, but this one struck the perfect sweet-sour balance.

Overall, OXBO is the perfect place for a scenic riverside dinner, ideal for a date night or an upscale evening with friends. Great vibe, superb food and drinks, and a view you’ll never forget. Highly recommend booking...

We recently dined at OXBO Bangkok at the Hilton with friends who were celebrating a birthday, and overall, it was a lovely evening. The staff were incredibly friendly, professional, and attentive – nothing was too much trouble, and they were happy to accommodate any requests, which made the occasion feel extra special.

The setting is beautiful. We were seated at a riverside table with a stunning view – the perfect backdrop for a celebration. The atmosphere was refined yet relaxed, and we never felt rushed.

As for the food, everything we tried was full of flavour and beautifully presented. The standout dish was the steak, which one of our friends ordered – cooked to perfection with a selection of delicious sauces on the side. We would definitely recommend that.

Our only real criticism lies in the portion sizes. While we appreciate the emphasis on quality over quantity at high-end restaurants, we felt some dishes were a little too minimalist. The lamb, for example, consisted of just two small ribs, and the half chicken was also quite modest in size. That said, each dish we tasted was exquisite and clearly crafted with care.

It is on the expensive side – but that’s to be expected at a riverside Hilton venue in Bangkok. You’re paying for the experience, the setting, and the service, all of which were excellent.

All in all, a great spot for a special occasion if you’re looking for fine dining...

Its not uncommon to find a restaurant providing exceptionally good service. But OXBO took customer service satisfaction to the next level!

Selected OXBO for our 2nd year anniversary as I wanted to select somewhere with a nice view to impress my lady.

Greeted very warmly by the front manager as soon as we walked in. We decided to have a couple of drinks at the bar counter since its still early. I was personally very impress with the mixologist (please forgive me as I couldn't remember the name!).. He managed to customize a very delicious drink for my lady which she absolutely love it! Nailed it!

Soon as we are ready for dinner, lovely K. Jeab and K. Film took us to our table, with a gorgeous view. Food doesn’t take long to reach our table. Quality was top notch. And love the elegant plating. Blown away by the food. My personal favorite is the crudo and sea bass. Sea bass is simply cooked beautifully.

The service from both K. Jeab and K. Film was really really exceptional. They made our special evening very enjoyable and memorable. Their attention to detail is really outstanding! And to our pleasant surprise, they even bring out an extremely delicious cheesecake with rose petals on the table!

A truly wonderful dining experience made even more memorable with impeccable service from K. Jeab and K. Film and all the team members from OXBO!
