A must: impressive sightseeing at night, friendly service, excellent price-quality. If you come to Bangkok for the 1st time you must see the city and the sights at night and this is an excellent way to do it. You'll see Wat Arun, The Mandarin Oriental, The Riverfront all pass by at a comfortable speed while enjoying a bit from the buffet. I really don't understand the negative reviews people are posting about the food: I've visited Bangkok several times and NEVER got sick. So people getting sick are probably used to eating only the most sterile and tasteless food or they simply should not travel in the first place. The buffet is a buffet, it's not fine dining but it's okay and that's why it's called a buffet and not a gastronomic dinner. Staff are very friendly and do their best to make your trip as comfortable as possible. Great value for money, I guarantee you won't regret it as long as you do not expect a gastronomic meal at...
Read moreOverpriced and Bland. From the start this was not a good tour - half day summer palace/ayutthaya /grand pearl River cruise. Way too expensive - booked through hotel (10 Galleria) find out half the people on the tour paid way less than the 2700 each we did. Tour guide has no charisma and we could barely make out a thing he was saying. Whole thing was very rushed. Very disappointed with all of it, thought the meal on the boat night maybe make up for it, but half of it was cold, slimey and over cooked. Food was removed before we had finished, had to fight to get desert and coffee. Guide continued to babble under his breath on the boat, not one of our group of six could make him out. Then when the cruise ended we were supposed to get a lift back to our hotel but we were left behind and no attempt made to bring us back, had to make our own way. Disappointment from late...
Read moreWe recently had an amazing trip with the Grand Pearl Cruise to Ayutthaya, exploring the beautiful old town and its magnificent temples and heritage sites.
The historical richness of the area was captivating, and visiting these iconic landmarks made for an unforgettable experience.
After our tour, we enjoyed a delightful cruise lunch back to Bangkok. The buffet menu was simply delicious, offering a variety of options that satisfied all our cravings while we took in the scenic views along the river.
A special mention goes to our tour guide, Donna. She was incredibly cheerful, warm, and friendly, making the entire experience even more enjoyable.
It was heartwarming to see how much the dogs at Ayutthaya Park loved her too!
Overall, I highly recommend the Grand Pearl Cruise for anyone looking to explore Ayutthaya in a unique and enjoyable way. It was truly a...
