Wonderful Pearl Cruise — Restaurant in Talat Noi Subdistrict

You have to go to river city mall to get the ticket and get on board. One thing is Bangkok is be awared of the traffic conditions there. As you get the ticket around the peak traffic section and it might get very jam.

The service is good. The staff are very friendly. The atmosphere is good too. You can enjoy the luxury of the cruise. But everything there is expensive. The alcohol or soft drinks. They just offer you plain water so you need to pay more if you want any other drink.

The food is just okay. I don't feel very nice but it is not bad either. Overall we were just there for the experience not the food.

The band is good. Good music good vibes. It's just too bad it is only 2 hours.

Overall it is just okay. Experience once is enough as I feel it is a bit overpriced and overrated. Don't think i will go again. It is good for bringing your partner here.

So the decision...

Booked months ago for our 25th anniversary. We were very excited about this. Pick up was botched, they sent a bolt to get us there but the bolt dropped us off with no instructions where to go from drop off. So we were late to arrive then had to search for the little hidden kiosk to claim our boarding pass. Finally got aboard to find the boat had been swapped for the companies smaller sister ship Grand Pearl. Told the Wonderful Pearl was having up grade/maintenance. Actual cruise was good with awesome night views of the river and city. However we passed the Wonderful Pearl on the river doing what appeared to be a private small function. So much for maintenance. Food was plentiful but options limited. Desert wasn't good at all. Lively band, friendly staff. Bit cheeky with the drinks costs and tacky photos. Not great...

Couldn't refund tickets when we couldn't make it a few hours out due to emergency.

We tried again with this company and the cruise went okay. The food wasn't the best nor was the selection. But they didn't really organise that properly as there was more food on the stairway? Meh it's fine.

The views are obviously fine.

The boat itself was okay we were on the roof. But it didn't seem as lux as they made it out to be. I guess we got the best view so I'm happy with that I guess.

The bands were alright. They played some silly music near the end of the trip.

Compared to other boats we passed I felt ours were better and had a better vibe musically.

So a solid 4 stars.
