Be My Guest — Restaurant in Khlong Ton Sai Subdistrict

I came here by motorbike and it's a little adventure in itself. The entrance to the super narrow alley where the restaurant is is very concealed since it can't be accessed directly from the main road. So if you are coming here by a motorbike (like me), you'll need to drive on a footpath for about 10 metres to be able to turn into the soi. This alley is super narrow and the surface is very uneven, go slow and be considerate. Lovely animist bodhi tree on the first bend. There's a little space to park youor bike along the front wall of the restaurant. Crossing the river on a ferry from Si-praya pier would be a lot easier but a lot less adventurous.

The food is lovely. Squid in salted egg sauce is one of the best I've had so far. Pineapple fried rice is served with prawns on top. I also recommend Tom kha gai with young coconut.

The service is not much but attentive enough. Great view but can be a bit stuffy since the seating space is flanked by buildings.

I went out yesterday for the first time with my friends. Around 8pm, there were not much people. Such a nice place to meet up with friends. It has a good vibe, chill, open air table, quite quiet location, not to be distracted by anything (Icon Siam building which next to it, the construction part is mostly finished). It has a good view to see ferries and river transportation. Well known '90 Thai pop music were played there. As a local, I recommend Thai food here which taste good like local. We ordered 6 plates of food (Kang-som, Yum-Pakkashed, Whisky fried rib, fried squid with salted egg, fried broccoli with shrimp, fried sour pork and one rice bowl which cost us around a thoundsand. Nice place to enjoy dinner by riverside. Food: For thai maybe not that extreme but not that bad. Some menus are great, I love fried fish with spicy herbs. Service: very good. Many staffs can speak English so it is convenient for foreigners. Price: reasonable.
