I had the pleasure of enjoying a lunchtime excursion to Naruto Ramen, a charming establishment that I stumbled upon. The convenience of parking right in front of the restaurant was an added bonus. After perusing the menu, I opted for their highly recommended signature dish, the Naruto Miso Ramen. The soup exhibited a dense and robust consistency, bursting with umami flavors and the distinct essence of miso. I noticed a departure from the typical sweetness that characterizes ramen, which leaned towards a more unique flavor profile. Although it didn't quite align with my personal preferences, I must acknowledge the delightful texture of the round and chewy noodles, complemented by the savory pork.
At Naruto Ramen, the process involves placing your order and making the payment at the reception before embarking on your culinary journey. To enhance the dining experience, patrons are offered the choice of complimentary water or a selection of soft drinks.

Read moreGreat tasting ramens close to Thonglor BTS. After trying all kinds of different ramens from burnt miso ramen to tsukemen over the years, I was excited to find a ramen style in the menu I have not tried before. So we went during lunch and had the spicy miso ramen and the Jiro ramen. The latter came in a higher bowl topped with tons of garlic, pork fat and bean sprouts. The noodle portion was also massive and I loved their thickness and chewy texture. The meat was not the usual shashu, but a slightly sweet and super tender braised pork. The broth had also a slight sweetness to it, pork-based but not as creamy and fat as a usual tonkotsu. The egg was still a bit soft inside, just how it is supposed to be. I really enjoyed this ramen and yes, you will not be hungry till late night. The spicy miso ramen was also great, noodles were thinner, but also perfectly cooked. Customers were mostly Japanese, which speaks for their quality and...
Read moreI recommend it to those who like their ramen with a light and sweet soy sauce flavor.
I had the "Niboshi Ramen" which is not on the menu. The base soup is soy sauce-flavored and contains niboshi powder. The noodles are medium thick and straight, and go well with the soup. The chashu pork has a unique flavor. Overall, it is a well-balanced ramen.
However, I found it a little too sweet for me, so I think it is a very tasty ramen for those who like a sweeter taste.
The price is standard for a Japanese ramen restaurant in the Thonglor area, but it is not cheap.
It is about a 10-minute walk from BTS Thonglor station.
The restaurant has a system where you order at the entrance and pay in advance.
The restaurant looks like it has just opened and is very clean. The staff is also very friendly.
Overall, I think it's a ramen restaurant...
