Bacco, its a great place with great atmosphere. Nice paintings on the wall and usually bumbling with big tables of chatting diners. It can get a little loud in some areas, but fun and festive nonetheless. The food is always good. Ive eaten there numerous times. In fact, i used to order take out from there about 3 times a week, then i realized that for the same money I am soending on take out, I can hire a live in made!!! And I did, 😂😂 Pizza is good, thin crust. Carbonara pasta, all pastas are good. Brusheta with zuchinni or tomatoes, calzone, lasagna. Good good good and good. The only bad thing is that their menu is just horrible. I cant even barely read this thing. Its dark, in a terrible font. I get dizzy just looking at it. No pictures. Its just confusing and a c9mplete overload!!! *pro tip, pull oit your phone and check their menu on food panda. ITS MUCH EASIER TO READ!!!! Mamagement is always on point. Very friendly and helpful. Usually bring us a complimentary Lemoncello shot after the meal for everyone. Thats always appreciated. You cant go wrong here. Its in the medium to slughtly high price range, but I think its well worth it❤️❤️🤘

Bacco was the venue of a surprise birthday party my wife had recently arranged for me. Everyone had a wonderful evening and the guests said that the food was okay. I enjoyed my negroni, the tuna tartar was one of the best that I've ever had & the crème brûlée was excellent. My wife had the squid ink pasta (one of her favourite meals) and she absolutely loved it. However, I ordered the saltimbocca because it's one of my favourite Italian dishes and the waitress, who served us, recommended it. I was extremely disappointed with the dish. It lacked flavour and didn't taste authentic. Bacco was also lovely enough to serve a complimentary birthday dessert, which consisted of crème brûlée and tiramisu. The tiramasu was incredibly bland which was a great pity! The bill was an absolute shock to my system as I've had meals of a higher standard in Bangkok, which costed far less. Overall, the venue is almost authentic for an osteria and the staff at Bacco are efficient. I want to thank everyone for making the occasion memorable, and hopefully the food will improve upon my next visit. Best of luck for the future - grazie mille!

Bacco is a large Italian Restsurant which has been here for some time. That’s usually a good sign as you know they must be doing something well. The interior feels a little dated, but that gives it a casual vibe, which also helps to make it less pretentious and more welcoming. Although it is a little large, it can feel a bit empty when it’s not full. As we were there on a Monday night, this was to be expected. The food itself was good, without being great. After a few starters of cold cut meats and mozzarella on tomato slices, both adequate without being memorable we went straight to our mains. I ordered a spicy sausage tagliatelle, the sauce was simple and not overly flavourful, so the taste of the sausages and herbs could be appreciated, but there wasn’t anything outstanding to make it memorable. Perhaps a little more spice might have added to the enjoyment but that’s a personal request so perhaps not everyone’s cup of tea. The service was generally friendly and the whole experience was pleasant without being bellissimo.

Pizza is coocked in wood fired oven and is not so bad (eatable and enjoyable) but far to be the top pizza in BKK ... Too thin, tomato sauce do not stick on thr pasta (dough) and last but not least MOZZARELLA DI BUFALA, should be added at thr end, once out of oven (otherwise you can give me also plastic White mozzarella and you can't taste).

Opened with a Bufala Caprese, mozzarella is good, pesto too (.... not necessary) what does not match at all is the STRAWBERRY JAM on the dish...

place is nice... and for the drug addicted, there is smoking (separate) area...

Service is not trained enough to collect orders in an italian restaurant (at least on Pizza part).

what is TERRIBLE is that they don't change you fork/knive/spoon among dishes. AND THIS IS TERRIBLE ON SUCH STANDARD RESTAURANT.

Last but not least, in an Italian restaurant the "COPERTO" (initial bread) should be free flowing and (by the level of restaurant) arrive on the table with olive oil / balsamic winegar to wait for main courses.

Next time i will try the pastas of the new chef (2 weeks here) ... to see if deserve respect or not...

.... AH... IF YOU ARE ITALIAN CHEF... GREET OUR CULTURE WITH "BUONGIORNO/BUONASERA" TO GUESTS ... not with wai and sawasdee...
