Thaipioka — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

This is the most overpriced water that I have ever had. The atmosphere was cool, and I met some nice people. The music wasn’t bad, but it was too loud to have a conversation . The problem that I had was with the cocktails themselves. First I had a cocktail with a pandan leaf. It was OK, but seemed kind of watery. Then I ordered a Negroni. If you’ve never had a Negroni, it consists of equal parts gin, vermouth and Campari. Very alcohol forward and strong. It wasn’t, it tasted like water. When I suggested to the bartender that he couldn’t make it more flavorful by flaming the citrus, he replied this drink is so flavorful it doesn’t need it. I didn’t appreciate his arrogance. Great Atmosphere Marred by Inconsiderate Guests

I recently visited Thaipioka and I must say their cocktails and drinks are good. The bartender service was exceptionally good, with friendly staff that knew their way around a cocktail shaker. The venue itself is tastefully decorated, providing a vibrant yet cozy atmosphere that's perfect for a night out.

Unfortunately, my experience was tainted by a couple of inconsiderate guests at our shared table. Despite regulations in Thailand prohibiting indoor smoking and vaping, they insisted on puffing their e-cigarettes in close proximity, with the smoke directed at us multiple times. We asked the staff to intervene, but the offenders persisted. Although the e-cigarettes didn't smell bad, it's still concerning due to the nicotine content.

Thaiopika is an excellent bar, but they should uphold the non-smoking rule more firmly for the comfort...

Music is super good, place is beautiful, but get ready: cocktails are 390thb on menu but you will pay 460 with tax. When we came in, nobody danced, only us, and later we found out why: when we drunk cocktails and went to sit down, manager (or waiter) run up to us and asked to order more or leave the chairs! we left of course. place is high class but attitude was no hospitality( so when no cocktail in hand, personnel may have questions to you, that’s why everybody sat and sticked on to theirs and didn’t dance maybe.
