Bistro 33 — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

Italian food, in my opinion, the second or third most loved cuisine for many Thai people.

Why? Well, Italian restaurants have been ever present in Bangkok, and other major Thai cities for decades.

Both cuisines also focus hard on fresh, seasonal ingredients, classic cooking styles, pastas/noodles, seafood, and rice. And compared to other foreign cuisines, Italian is less pretentious and encourages family style dining.

Honey, comfy, relaxed, and fun is certainly the vibe at Rava, a super newish eatery about 10 mins walk down Sukhumvit 33.

Located in a large house, and property, Rava gleams at night, calling you in. Food-wise, Rava features the classics (done very well) and we ordered beef carpaccio, a ham pizza, and a feta and leaves salad. All were well cooked and delicious (home cooking style and flavor that hit the spot).

Service was warm, and welcoming, and Rava ranks high in the value for money stakes. Dishes were very affordable given the quality of ingredients used and its central Sukhumvit location.

Will return with a bigger party next time to order more dishes from Rava’s sizeable menu. Looking forward...

Rava is a delight, simply a lovely and impeccably delicious dining experience. We thoroughly enjoyed our food, drinks and time in this sweet quiet establishment, tucked away in a quiet yet easily accessible neighborhood with plenty of parking on site, by the way! We were greeted and seated by attentive and kind staff who continued to provide skilled and excellent service. Chef/owner Marco came to our table to converse and welcome us, to ensure our food and time spent at Rava met our hopes and expectations… (it absolutely did!) The wood fired pizza was wonderful, the crust perfection, the toppings balanced and generous. The menu is filled with what look to be amazing choices and options. The setting is inviting, with quiet outside seating as well. After dinner I enjoyed a moment of solitude and drink there before taking my leave. We did again, lunch and dinner with the great company of friends don’t seeing for long time. As always the perfection of Chef Marco food gave us the opportunity of having the best Italian cuisine experience.

I asked for a Pizza gourmet, and he prepared a so delicious Pizza with italian pepperoni, salame piccante and Italian salamina. I can’t believe how the all ingredients match together and test so well. Of course an italian beer ‘nazionale’ helps the all culinary experience to a next level.

I tried also the crespelle ricotta spinach with béchamel, so delicious as well, get back with memories to my grandma cuisine stile .

My son for lunch spaghetti pink sauce and dinner lasagna. All so testy and delicious.
