Lao Ti Fang — Restaurant in Khlong Tan Nuea Subdistrict

I was at the restaurant at -4:10PM according to Google Map they were supposed to be open already however at the door they put up a hand written sign that states their new hours of operation. Why do this restaurant not change their opening hours on Google Map? I even took photos of the front door which says they are OPEN! The doors were locked and when I called this restaurant a girl answer the phone and said in Thai it is 4:30PM.

I was flabbergasted! I ate at another Chinese restaurant close by and it was the worst Chinese food I ever ate anywhere in the world🤣

Thank you for being so untruthful in stating your hours of operation in Google Map.😂😂😂

The food was bad tasting) I find the food in Thailand especially Chinese food to be uniformly bad.

After eating at this restaurant when I went to the rest room I found my stool was full of orange/red oil. I was extremely curious so i think it was the chilli oil I had here. However I only added minuscule amount. I think there is something strange about their oil so...

I have dined at this restaurant several times as it's conveniently close to my room. The taste of food is average — not too good but not bad either.

However, today's experience was TERIBLE. I entered the restaurant, ordered my food as usual, and then got in a phone conversation while waiting without realizing how much time had passed.

After about 2 hours on the phone, I noticed my food hadn't been served. I continued to wait for another 20-30 minutes before asking a waitress if my food was ready?.

The response I received was a question, asking what I had ordered ?. I was feeling extremely upset, I decided to pay a bill for my drink water, the only thing I had received during my approximately 3-hour wait, then I left the restaurant.

If you are a person with high patience and don't mind waiting for your food without knowing when it will be served, I would recommend this restaurant. Good Luck.

ปกติมาทานร้านนี้บ่อยเพราะเป็นคนชอบอาหารจีน มาบ่อยจนเด็กเสริฟแค่เห็นหน้าก็รู้แล้วว่าเราจะสั่งเมนูอะไร แต่สิ่งที่เจอวันนี้ทำเราเสียความรู้สึกมาก...

เราเข้าไปในร้านและสั่งอาหารตามปกติ จากนั้นเราก็นั่งคุยโทรศัพท์รอ เราไม่ได้สังเกตุว่ารอมานานแค่ในแล้ว จนกระทั่งมารู้ตัวว่านี่เรารออาหารมาเกือบสองชั่วโมงแล้วจากการวางสาย

บนโต๊ะเรามีเพียงน้ำ หวัง เหล่า จี่ กระป๋องเดียวที่เสริฟให้ตอนแรก เราเห็นว่าคนในร้านเยอะจึงไม่ได้โวยวายอะไร และเข้าใจว่า คนอาจจะเยอะ ร้านอาจจะยุ่ง (เรารู้อยู่แล้วว่าร้านนี้เวลาคนเยอะ อาหารจะออกมาค่อนข้างช้า)

เราจึงนั่งเล่นเกมมือถือรอ แต่หลังจากที่เราต่อรอประมาณ 20-30 นาที เราสังเหตุว่าโต๊ะที่มาหลังเรา เค้าได้รับอาหารกันแล้ว เราจึงถามกับน้องพนักงานที่รับ order ว่า อาหารเราได้รึยัง?

แต่สิ่งที่น้องพนักงานตอบกลับมา คือถามกลับมาที่เราว่า "พี่สั่งอะไรไว้นะคะ ?"

เราเสียความรู้สึกมาก จึงเรียกเก็บตัง จ่ายค่าน้ำ หวัง เหล่า จี๋ และเดินออกมาเลย

ตอนสั่งอาหาร เราสั่งชัดเจน น้องที่รับตอบกลับรับทราบ แต่สิ่งที่เราเจอคืออะไร?

บอกตรงๆว่า เสียความรู้สึกมากครับ

Randomly, getting into this Chinese place instead of the nearby one.

Very local as they almost don’t speak English. Only Thai and Chinese. The place feel cozy in Chinese local standard.

Highlights are the food is so so good. Hot and Sour soup: Flavorful Mapu tofu: not too much Huxiang pepper but flavor enough to like this dish Sweet and Sour pork: omg!! Soft and juicy pork. Well done fried and really yummy sauce. Vegetable is good to balance your dinner. And I ordered fried rice as well.
