Title: A Wild Time at Laughing Tiger: Bangkok's Super Cool English Bar with a Tiger Twist
Howdy, Boyz and girls :) So, if you ever find yourself wanderin' around Bangkok and you're feelin' a bit hungry or just downright thirsty for a cocktail, lemme put you on to a lil joint called Laughing Tiger. It's an English bar, and lemme tell ya, it's got some real good stuff goin' on. The service is off the charts, and the food? Well, you don't gonna wanna miss out on the "Tiger Balls"!
Mouthwatering Munchies: Tiger Balls Okay, now, I am not any kind of critic, but these "Tiger Balls" are somethin' else. They're like these big, juicy meatballs smothered in this sauce that's just, wow! I mean, every bite's like a party in your mouth. It's got all the flavors mixing "just right!" If you're gonna eat one thing at Laughing Tiger, make it them "Tiger Balls."
Service with a Smile Now, I gotta say, the folks workin' at Laughing Tiger are some of the friendliest ppl you'll ever meet. They're smilin' like there's no tomorrow, and they really make you feel right at home. Just ask for the manager Noi and/or a server named Fern. They knew their stuff and helped me pick out some good grub and their Bloody Mary is to die for. Plus, they kept an eye on my glass, so it was never empty for long. Service is top notch.
Cozy Vibes All Around The place itself? Well, it's got this real chill vibe. You can sit at the bar or find a cozy spot at a booth or table. It's kinda like your neighborhood hangout but with a Bangkok twist. There's all this cool stuff decoratin' the place with tigers being the theme (from the bar to the bathroom, tigers dominate), and everybody's just chattin' away and havin' a good time. Whether you're lookin' to relax after a day of sightseein' or you wanna kick off a night out with your buddies, Laughing Tiger's got the right feel.
In a Nutshell In a nutshell, Laughing Tiger in Bangkok is my kinda spot. You got the tasty eats, the super-friendly staff, and an atmosphere that's as cozy as you want it to be (not too much and not too little - just right). Don't forget to holler for Noi or Fern – they'll take real good care of you. No matter where you are from these guys will take good care of ya, and it's a place worth checkin' out. It's like a hidden gem in the heart of Bangkok, and you won't leave...

The staff are some of the most genuinely welcoming and friendly people we've met, creating a wonderfully relaxed atmosphere.
The biggest highlight for us was how they welcomed our dog. They didn't just tolerate her; they treated her like a special guest! They immediately found a comfortable spot for her to lie down and brought her a bowl of water without us even having to ask. It’s so refreshing to find a truly dog-friendly place like this.
The service was second to none all evening, and the food was just fantastic. We both had a Thai curry, and it was absolutely outstanding – packed with authentic flavour and amazing value for money.
Just when we thought the experience couldn't get any better, we were given a token for a free beer on our next visit when we paid the bill. It's thoughtful touches like this that make a place stand out.
We also found out they have live music on the weekends, so we will DEFINITELY be back very soon. Highly, highly...
Read moreMy absolute favourite bar in Phrom Phong BKK near Soi 33 . Excellent staff , service and food . Currently doing an Aussie steak promotion. It is first class and tender Aussie steak perfectly cooked . Wow what a meal . Thai dishes are also excellent and are well priced.. The staff are the best . Manager Noi runs a very tight ship however the staff are the beneficiaries which then leads to the visiting clients receiving first class service. Highly recommend for the service and for the steak specials . Tom the owner is a very unassuming master of effective and efficient Bar . I met so many people each night I visited . Happy hour ends at 8pm so make sure you arrive early . I am confident you won’t regret it . Many thanks to everyone for making my visits very special every night best wishes Tony...
