Wow, what a pleasure to discover this place. We were out on the hunt for some food in the area but unsure what. We poked our head in the door, the restaurant was busy and smelled delicious, definitely a green light to enter!

Having arrived in the city this morning we are somewhat jet lagged and not super hungry so didn't order much. What we did order was so tasty, fresh and hot. We didn't have to wait long considering how busy the restaurant was coupled with takeaways going out the door every minute it seemed.

The restaurant has additional seating upstairs but I'm unsure how much more as we sat at ground level. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we came to order.

I definitely recommend eating here to catch some great, fresh Thai food. We are going back when my brother and his wife arrive, I will be suggesting we share dishes and order a little extra...

It’s hard to review this place because it was such a mix—some dishes were fantastic, while others missed the mark.

What we loved:

• The authentic Green Chicken Curry • A refreshing Watermelon Smoothie • The best Papaya Salad I’ve ever had (and I love spice!)

What didn’t work:

• The Tom Yum wasn’t up to par—menu reported it came with coconut milk which i don’t know as usual. We followed our waitress recommendation to have a mix of 2 soups to make spicy. Despite the advice, soup was not spicy at all and didn’t taste like Tom yum. • I’m still confused about the “Pink soup.” • They served warm beer and then charged us for ice to cool it down.

It’s a busy spot. We were seated downstairs, but many people headed to the upper levels. They accept both card and cash, which...

I had a great lunch at Imjai Thai Food restaurant. The food was delicious, authentic. I ordered tom yum, papaya salad, pad thai with pork, fried rice, and fresh coconut. The tom yum was not spicy and sour, with plenty of shrimp and mushrooms. The papaya salad was crunchy and refreshing, with a nice balance of sweet, salty, and tangy flavors, it’d better with more spicy. The pad thai was soft and chewy, with generous portions of pork and peanuts. The fried rice was flavorful and moist, with eggs, vegetables, and chicken. The fresh coconut was cold and sweet, a perfect drink to cool down the heat. The service was friendly and attentive, and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves Thai food or wants to try...
