Savoey Seafood Company on Sukhumvit 26 is a delightful spot for seafood lovers. The ambiance is inviting, with a modern yet cozy decor that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. The moo yang (grilled pork) was tender and flavorful, perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection. The yam pla douk fu (crispy catfish salad) was another standout dish, offering a delightful mix of textures and flavors that left my taste buds dancing.
The menu is extensive, featuring a wide variety of seafood dishes that cater to different tastes. The freshness of the ingredients is evident in every bite, and the presentation of the dishes is both appealing and appetizing. The service was prompt and attentive, with the staff being knowledgeable about the menu and ready to offer recommendations.
While the prices are on the higher side, the quality of the food and the overall dining experience make it worth it. The restaurant also offers a good selection of beverages, including some interesting cocktails that complement the seafood dishes well. Overall, Savoey Seafood Company is a great place to enjoy a delicious seafood meal in a comfortable and...
Read moreDisappointing Experience at a Well-Rated Restaurant(( We came to Savoey with high expectations, hoping to try authentic, top-quality Thai cuisine. Having had Tom Yum at several other places before, we were shocked by how disappointing it was here. The broth was thin and lacked depth, there was an excessive amount of lemongrass stalks, and very few mushrooms. Worst of all, the soup was completely mild, despite our specific request for two different spice levels—one very spicy and one minimally spicy. Instead, they brought us a single, non-spicy soup in a pot without a flame, which quickly went cold under the air conditioning. To “fix” the spice issue, they simply placed a small plate of chopped chilies on the side. Communication with the staff was also a challenge, as they seemed to misunderstand our order. Given the restaurant’s reputation, we expected much better. We traveled across the city to dine here based on recommendations, only to end up with a meal that we could have had—better prepared—at a random place near our hotel....
Read moreI reserved it through HungryHub. Per person, the buffet package costs THB 699. I adore it. It is such an excellent value. The buffet package at Sukhumvit 26 and Mercury Building is identical, and I believe it is more valuable than the Rama 3 location. At Rama3, prices are marginally higher. However, Sukhumvit 26 and Mercury are closer to town and offer unlimited fruit smoothies and desserts, whereas Rama 3 does not offer fruit smoothies and has a limit of one dessert per person.
I strongly endorse Savoey. Every menu we've ordered has delicious food. The service is excellent. Parking is convenient. The ambiance is satisfactory. The sole remark is the HungryHub menu. It is an old Ink Jet printout on A4 paper. Look dreadfully ugly. If the menu is improved at the Sukhumvit 26 location, I have no further comments.
