A hidden gem serving authentic Iraqi cuisine! Iraqi Restaurant (Halal) exceeded my expectations with its flavorful dishes and warm hospitality. The dining space, while modest in size, was clean and comfortable with traditional decorations that created a welcoming atmosphere. Service was consistently attentive and friendly, with staff eager to explain dishes and accommodate special requests.

The location is convenient, though parking can be challenging during peak hours. What truly stands out is the food - their lamb quzi was perfectly tender, the kebabs were juicy and well-seasoned, and the freshly baked Iraqi bread was exceptional. The portions were generous, and everything tasted homemade with authentic spices and preparation methods.

For anyone craving genuine Middle Eastern flavors, especially Iraqi specialties, this restaurant delivers an experience that feels both authentic and accessible. While not fancy, the 4-star overall rating is well-deserved for the quality of food and sincere hospitality. Food was really old and warmed to be served. The price is unrealistically inflated. Be aware that unlike many Mid Eastern restaurants around the world you have to pay for every single items put on the table even if you don't order. The waitress placed a bottle of water without asking for and thought it's complemantary. I've been to thousands of Iraqi restaurants in many countries and this is the WORST restaurant I've ever been to. I've had a decent meal with drink at KFC and paid 149 Baht. This restaurant charged me 550 Baht for old soup, rice and yougurt drink. Unlike every single Iraqi restauranr no bread was provided. Put it this way a decent meal with free bread, free water, free Iraqi style tea woult cost you no more 15 Australian dollar (360 Baht) in a decent Iraqi restaurant in Melbourne. You guys ruined the reputation...

The food was excellent except for the meat tikka which was very dry and chewy. The Iraqi kebabs were very delicious as well as the prawns kabsa. The grilled shrimps were also delicious and cooked to perfection. The mixed salads were okay except for the hummus and mutable which needed salt. The tum yum soup was delicious.

The service was okay but could have been better. The restaurant is old and needs renewal of furniture and decorations.

The restaurant is located in the heart of the Arab road in Bangkok which makes it a popular destination for Arab tourists.
