My husband spent hours upon hours trying to choose the right accommodation for our 15 night quarantine. I needed to work, so somewhere to work, internet and space for him to escape me were essential. My husband is also quite fussy, so we were nervous about the food options that would be available.||||Upon arriving at the hotel, the check in took 10 minutes with the nurse and we went straight to our room. We had a very large suite, with a large living room (sofa, armchair and dining table) toilet, another bathroom and bedroom with 2 queen beds. Both rooms had large TVs and the bathroom has a jacuzzi (very welcome when you have time to waste).||||We had ordered our first 2 days meals upon arrival and as we thought the 2 options for lunch on our day of arrival were not ok for him. 'What would you like?' asked the nurse, 'Pad Gra Pow Gai?' we asked nervously. 'No problem she said and told us to write it on our form.||||The food in the main was good, some great, some not so good, but not surprising, with only 3 options it is unlikely you are going to like every meal. One day I was picking up the food from outside our room and a lady asked why I didn't take the dessert. When I told her we did not like it, she asked if we wanted something else, when I said no, she said how about fruit. From then on we had fruit for dessert everyday - perfect.||||Upon arrival in the room the internet was not great, a big concern for me, my husband called reception and a guy quickly arrived, bringing the firestick we ordered and helping us fix the WiFi. Living in Thailand, the internet here was some of the best I have experience in Thailand (apart from our own resort).||||When we ordered deliveries they were brought straight up. ||||The nurse was friendly, welcoming and helpful.||||What can I say. Worth every penny. It had everything, a great room and great staff.||||Off on Monday and very very pleased my husband...
Read moreI totally understrand that hotel needs to update rooms, however travellers need to be advised of the work going on so they can make informed decision.|We booked 2 nts in may and left hotel after 3 hours. There was only 1 floor available for guest accommodation and all we were told over and over "sorry, we have renovation going on". Do what you need to do but why make it a problem for me and have me waste time and money? Very poor customer service. The entire floor that was available for guests had a strong smoke smell. I am a smoker anx have no allergies to cigarette smoke but the floor and the rooms have been exposed to cigarette smoke for years and after 3 min in the room eyes start tearing. Manager offered upgrade but the room was on the same floor, how was it going to help me??? After we asked to cancel reservation, we were offered to try another floor were they had " 5 guests". All rooms besides 5 occupied were stripped for deep clean anx touch up and hotel needed time to set everything back to normal. Windows anx doors in all vacant rooms were open so we did not feel any strong smell at first. However after 2hrs we could not stand to be in this building any longer and left.|Hotel is also observing ramadan (quite unexpected considering we are in thailand) and upon check in we were told that there is no buffet breakfast service as advertised, only limited a la carte through room service.|Very deceiving and poorly...
Read moreChecked in this hotel for three nights and it was a total nightmare. Definitely won’t be returning to this hotel again.
This hotel has a decent facade - a nice lobby and the hotel room has all the essential items. It was advertised as a non-smoking hotel, but i wasn’t able to sleep at all during those three nights due to people smoking inside their rooms. Insulation was a joke. I was forced to smoke second-handedly throughout the nights and ended up with a sore throat. You can hear music and noises made from the adjacent rooms and the hallway. You can smell cigarette smoking in the hallway and they used a unpleasant scent trying to cover that up. When this problem was confronted with the front desk, they changed to say that all the rooms are smoking rooms and offered to spray some air refreshener inside my room or deep clean the room the next day, instead of telling the guests to stop smoking.
If you are a non-smoker and don’t want to end up with a sore throat with sleepless nights after paying premium prices for these rooms, i highly don’t recommend anyone...
