Masa Hotel — Hotel in Khlong Toei Nuea Subdistrict

It was a nice hotel, very close to all the Halal restaurants here. Most nearby restaurants closes at 3am so it is quite convenient if you’re a night owl. A few minutes walk to the nearest BTS station, which is Nana Station. Also, a few minutes walk to 7-11 store so another convenient factor there. There are two mosques nearby so its close to the hotel if you want to go and pray. Staffs were quite friendly, they can speak in Malay language, which is my language. However, not sure whether this hotel is new because the last time I visited Bangkok, I wasnt sure whether this hotel already exist but the furniture were quite old, as there are some cracks. The door does not have any security chain nor peephole on the door, so that was a minus on the safety part. The location is great and the room is clean. Unfortunately the area is very loud and the noise doesn't stop until early morning. We had a street facing room and had minimum sleep o er 3 nights. We were given 2 towels between 4 people- and yes, we booked and paid for 4 people. The hot water is terrible - luke warm at best. When we checked in there were 15 sheets of toilet paper on the roll - no spare rolls. Could not find any staff either by phone or in person, so had to go at 11.30 pm To find toilet rolls for my children. The room was not serviced- we hung the "please make my room up" sign on the door for 2 days and the room was never cleaned, bins were not emptied, towels not replaced nor toilet paper / soap / hand wash re stocked. Masa hotel was a great experience for my wife and me . A clean and comfortable room with affordable price . The stuff were friendly and kind to accept our request for late checkout. Stepping out of the hotel surrounded by middle-east lifestyle , such as food , perfumes ,argawood shops, local Thai shops and a lot of shopping , shisha ect. The masa hotel also, just 100m away from nana plaza night entertainment place. All other location was easy to access from this hotel with grab and tuktuk with a cheap price .
