Eaten here 6 times in the last 12 months for reasons of expediency. It looks very inviting. Clean, seated quickly, even on busy nights and friendly staff. Its selling point is minimal markup on any wine accompanying the food. Good so far, then the food arrives and and a massive hole in the edifice appears. Stick to the pizza and you will be ok. Thin crust with just the right amount of topping and cheese. Try things from the "new" menu and suddenly everything unravels. The food is all cooked by a "ding chef" - stick it in the microwave and serve it when it dings. Presumably a corporate policy. You cannot microwave puff pastry unless you are manufacturing a floor tile. Steak pie ruined. Boiling some pigs ribs til they are just going soft then covering them with BBQ sauce from the supermarket is not BBQ spare ribs. It has the taste of boiled string with a similar texture. Dessicated salmon steak is not the good meal it is supposed to be. That could be microwaved for a couple of minutes and been delicious. I dont know who over-sees the company policy regarding the role of the chef but they need to step aside. To be fair when I told the manager that I would not pay for the food we tasted and rejected with less than a bite missing, they agreed. Could be wonderful, but someone has messed up. Get some real chefs and stop the accountants entering...
Read moreCame hungry, left hungry! Everything started off great, they came quickly, took the order and brought drinks and appetizers - everything was fine, but then the most interesting part began... I usually keep quiet, but here I decided to write a review. Why? Because be prepared to order a dish and get a terrible copy... I attached a photo of risotto with mushrooms and truffle. The photo on the menu is different and does not resemble rice with terrible gravy... but that's half the trouble, the most unpleasant thing is that the mushrooms were sandy. When I first asked the restaurant staff "Why is the dish on the menu photo different from the one served to the guest?" I only saw the dissatisfied face of the waitress, who hurried to leave ignoring me (how is that even possible?). Then, because of the sand, I put the plate aside and did not eat the dish any further... if you don't want to wash mushrooms well, then why did you add the dish to the menu?
Next... In response to my objections about the difference in serving the dish with the photo menu and also a complaint about the sand in the mushrooms - attention - I was charged for the entire table without any apologies.

Read moreThis place used to be quite good (one of my neighborhood favorites). The last time when I visited this place was over 6 months ago. The food was so bad that I told myself never come back again. But I went again today, just to see whether improvement was made to the food quality. It got worse! My husband ordered cheese burger medium rear, it came very rear with a piece of plastic over the meat! I ordered fish and chip. It used to be one of the best in town 4-5 years ago. Today I felt like eating a cardboard box. Lucky, the size of fish was 1/4 of what it used to be with the same price. If it was any bigger, it would be totally wasted. I didn't even finished my 1/4 of the piece, since cardboard isn't my favorite food. There are more, french fries used to be the wedged cut and they were so good that I ate them all up. Today, it was frozen french fries that you can get from wholesale food packaging. I came home with stomach ache probably from eating cardboard. DON’T GO...
