On The Rocks — Restaurant in Ko Lipe

I’ve been traveling to Thailand with my family for many years, and we’ve had the pleasure of dining in countless restaurants. However, The Rock Restaurant on Ko Lipe truly stood out and provided us with an exceptional experience.

The breathtaking view, combined with the relaxing atmosphere and excellent food, makes this restaurant a true gem on the island. We were especially impressed by our waiter Tom, who was incredibly attentive, friendly, and professional throughout each of our visits. His service added a personal touch that made us feel truly welcomed.

The curry was a standout dish – rich in flavor, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented. The bruschetta served as a delicious and well-prepared starter, which I particularly enjoyed.

What made our experience even more special is that we chose to return to The Rock Restaurant on multiple evenings during our stay – something we rarely do, as we usually like to explore different places. That alone speaks volumes about the quality and atmosphere of this establishment.

Chill views, decent coffee — but the fresh juices totally stole the show. Dropped by for a midday break and instantly loved the laid-back island vibe here. The seating is right by the ocean, so you get this wide open view of the sea while you sip and unwind. Classic “On The Rock Lipe” kind of scenery — breezy, blue, and beautiful.

I had an iced coffee, which was okay — nothing special, but it worked. The real surprise? Their fresh juices. I tried a carrot-orange mix and a green veggie one — both were super vibrant, fresh, and honestly better than most juice bars I’ve been to.

One of the best restaurants in Thailand!

I’ve been traveling in Thailand for three months now, and On The Rocks is easily one of the best restaurants I’ve been to. My girlfriend and I loved it so much that we came back several times, and each time, it was an amazing experience.

The food is absolutely delicious, the view is breathtaking, and the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive. A special shoutout to Jah, Meelay, and Tom, who made us feel so welcome every time! The service here is truly top-notch.
