Castaway Restaurant Koh Lipe — Restaurant in Satun Province

Went as a treat on our last day in Koh Lipe and wasn’t disappointed. Got a great table with an incredible view of the beach. Enjoyed several happy hour cocktails (buy one get one free) and then stayed for dinner and more cocktails after happy hour. Staff were super friendly and drinks / food was delicious. They accept card payment too, with no fee charged to the customer. Only minor criticism is non of the waiting staff knew what was in the cocktails. This was frustrating as some cocktails had names made up by the restaurant and so there was no way of us knowing what was in them. Other than that, can honestly say this is the best drinking / dining experience we’ve had in over four months travelling through five countries in SE Asia. Total cost for ten cocktails (six in happy hour), two vegetarian mains, two rice, potato wedges and two large bottles of water was 1,875 baht....

We've been here several times. Not only does this restaurant have a stunning view, but it also offers a variety of really tasty and fresh dishes at a reasonable price. For me, as a vegetarian, there were plenty of options on the menu. The lemongrass tofu larb is wow. The restaurant has the usual chairs and tables, but there is also floor seating with a sea view, which we really enjoyed because it was nice not only to eat there, but also to relax. Also, we are travelling with a baby and floor seating is the best and most chilled way to eat when you have a little child with you. Our daughter ran around freely and didn't feel excluded at all, and we took it easy and enjoyed our meal. I think parents will know what I mean. The restaurant staff were very attentive and friendly, they were always there when we needed them and also offered toys to entertain...

Our favorite place in Koh Lipe 😍. We are a couple traveling the world and we spent 3 days at Castaway resort. We loved the people who looked after us, everyone is so kind and so ready to make it perfect for you. The food was amazing. The view is so stunning!! It was crazy to spend 3 days working, eating and relaxing with that view. We work online and the WiFi at the restaurant worked well, SIM cards also work well in the rooms.
