Generally speaking this place gave a powerful contribution to have great holidays. Located next to the beach right in the middle of sunrise beach 🌅🏖 it is a perfect spot where to stay, also few minutes walking distance from walking street. The restaurant of the resort is located on the beach with a stunning view on the green sea. The service is good and all the staff is super friendly. The ladies of the restaurant were marvelous and they had a special attention to our two toddlers making our holiday even better. Also the cleaning service of the room is good. They clean deeply using nice perfumes that make pleasant when entering back into the room. Every time they put new bottles of water, leave a mosquito repellent and changing the soaps of the bathroom. So why only 3 stars out of five? The reason is the quality of the room. If you decide to charge 4500 THB (125€) per night, the quality of the rooms need to be impeccable and they were not: The bathrooms are cheap, the shower is super basic and the tiles on the walls are stained giving a feeling of dirty The curtains are not big enough to completely cover the windows so every morning the light comes in The door of room can be easily opened without a key just by pressing hard enough. The same door is also full of openings allowing mosquitos to enter into the room when the light is on even when the closed There is a fridge in the room but it works only when you plug in the key on the wall to give electricity. This means that it can reach a chill temperature only in the night when you sleep there and the fridge had enough time to get cold. Inside the room it is written that rooms are cleaned daily and if you don't want to have them clean you need to hang a sign on the door. That's exactly the opposite. If you want to have the room done daily, then you need to hang the sign on the door every day so that the staff will come to clean The receptionist barely speak English which doesn't help very much. She is sweet but as she is the face of the resort she should understand better the language in order to properly support the guests Such rate is the same paid for a good hotels anywhere in Europe where surely the standard quality of the rooms would be higher. Read moreWe stayed in a bungalow at the Longbay Lipe resort for 4 nights in March 2017 and it was the best accommodation solution for us.|This resort is very simple and new building, situated in a peaceful place surrounded from trees. Few bungalow, each with 1 room on the top and 1 room on the floor with private bathroom. The room was very clean, king size bed with mosquito net and a huge bathroom with amenities, towels and warm water. Very important in Thailand: the flush of wc is very energic so you can put the papertoilet inside :)|The beach is very small but with low tide you can reach from there in 1 minute sunset beach and 1|Minute by walk the beginning of sunrise beach (in our opinion the best one between the 3 beaches of Ko Lipe).|If there isn't low tide, you can reach the 2 beaches in 5-10|Minutes by walk from the street.|From this resort it is very easy to reach the walking street as well, 10-15 minutes by walk or less than 5 minute by tuk tuk.|The staff is very very very kind, every time they meet you they make sure you have enough water bottles and offer you delicious fresh fruits (watermelon, pineapple or mango).|The breakfast is very simple but very good: eggs omelette or fried egg, mango/pineapple/watermelon , hot tea, instant coffee or cacao, water.|Just a couple of low point: no air-conditioner in the room only the fans and sometimes bugs reach the bathroom from the tubes.|If we will return to Koh Lipe, we certainly would stay again at the Longbay Lipe...
