We dived with Adang Seadivers on 3 separate trips: Nov 2024, March 2025 and July 2025. We will definitely come again!
The first time we dived with Adang Seadivers was in Nov 2024, it was a late night booking at almost 12AM when we were messaging them via WhatsApp.
The customer service staff (Pear and the other staff) were quick to respond to our questions on the prices, accommodations & speedboat tickets even though it was very late already. We secured our booking that same night!
We highly appreciate this high quality service and quick replies from Adang Seadivers customer service team. Thank you🙏
The rooms are clean and breakfast is included, you can dine at Benny’s near the beach.
Lunch is included if you dive 2 dives with Adang.
We were all quite nervous when diving but we were kept safe by the care & guidance of Job and Bobby who took our group of 4 divers out. Our 4pax group did around 9-12 fun dives/diver during our November 2024 trip with Adang Sea divers.
Job is a very calm, steady and experienced SSI instructor. He taught us the SSI waves tides and currents specialty in July 2025 and he was our dive master together with Bobby in November 2024. Job speaks excellent English and explained the dive sites & briefings very well. We were in safe hands when we went out on dives with him.
Some divers in our group had shorter dive times as they used up their air quickly, so it was good that Bobby was there to help bring them to the boat first, so the remaining divers could remain and explore the dive sites.
We visited many dive sites like Honeycomb, Stonehenge etc.
Sean Buckle is a Canadian instructor who clearly explained the theory and practical concepts to us. He’s a good instructor and gave tips and feedback on how to improve.
Bobby was our dive master for our March 2025 trips and our group of 4 divers did 13 Fun Dives with him. Bobby speaks fluent English and is very skilful at locating various catsharks and pointing out various marine life to show us.
We did the SSI Waves Tides & Currents and the Photo specialty in our July trip with Job and See.
Sea (Adang Divemaster) guided us during our fun dives and he helped to take many pictures and videos for us at Stonehenge when there was good visibility. Thanks Sea! 🙏We really appreciate this as Stonehenge was very beautiful! He airdropped the photos to us after downloading it from his GoPro. The waves and currents were a little choppy in July as it was low season, but still manageable. It was honestly quite enjoyable and we had good drift dives!
Jo (Adang Divemaster) took us during our last dive day together with Sam (DMT) and we visited Taru, Bubu and Stonehenge. They were both very helpful during the drift dives and pointed out a lot of beautiful marine life. Jo is very skilled at locating tiny nudibranch! He found many amazing colourful Nudi for us to see!
We practiced DSMB release at the end of our fun dives and the divemasters all gave helpful tips on how to improve each time.
As a new diver, it’s very important to us to dive with professional, experienced and helpful divemasters. Thanks for the service and care, Adang Seadivers! Hope to be back in Koh Lipe soon and will dive with...
Read moreWe had a lovely morning diving with Jo at Adang Sea Divers and a great snorkeling trip with our kids. They were super flexible with rearranging our diving and snorkeling trip after we arrived on the island a day later than we'd originally planned.
They are a middle man for the snorkeling trip but they took care of all the arrangements for us so it was very easy - we just waited on the beach outside our hotel for the boat to pick us up. For families with kids the trip is very fun but if your kids will want to eat a proper meal then best to bring your own lunch as the food was quite spicy for mine (they were happy to just eat plain rice though and the food is all packaged separately so the spicy meat was in a separate pack to the rice). It was raining the day we did our snorkeling trip but the trip still went ahead and despite my reservations it was actually fine. The boat has a substantial roof so you can stay dry between snorkels. Just make sure you bring plenty of towels as the boat does not provide them. Oh and do be aware of monkeys when having your lunch - if they think they can steal your food from you then they will. If you walk further in to the island there is a pagoda to sit in away from the monkeys (in the company of some well behaved dogs). You can also pick up a few rocks, or even just pretend to pick up a rock and the monkeys are smart enough that they will run off if they think you have something to throw at them. Monkeys are more afraid of men so have the men in your group carry bags/food.
The day after our snorkeling trip we went diving with Jo as our guide and it was great. We were lucky to be the only two divers for the first dive, joined by another couple for the second dive. When we arrived and did the dive briefing Jo changed the dive site based on what we said we enjoyed. The site he took us to was perfect and he was great at spotting cool sea creatures for us. After our first dive we had the free lunch in the surface interval. I chose the Thai omelette and it was delicious. We did Stonehenge for our second dive and it was another beautiful dive with loads of gorgeous purple and pink soft coral. We were the only dive group at the site for both dives and that was a very nice experience, definitely recommend to come here in off season (we were here in September). Both dives we spent a full 60 minutes in the water and always did our safety stop in the shallows so we could enjoy every minute of the dive. We will definitely dive again with Adang Sea Divers next time we are back...
Read moreWe had a snorkeling trip to the outer islands of Koh Lipe. Well, what can I say, it was below average.
We were picked up at the hotel, given fins and walked to the longtail boat. I actually thought it was a speedboat or at least a larger diving boat. I was wrong. Anyone who knows longtail boats knows how loud the crossing can be.
After an hour's journey, we reached the first spot. Literally dozens of boats were already there and hundreds of Chinese with life jackets in the water. We had 20 minutes to see dead coral reefs and 2-3 lonely fish.
On to the next spot, same game. Dozens of boats with Chinese people struggling for their lives, unable to swim and splashing around wildly, raged over the reefs like a wild horde of cannibalistic prehistoric humans. Here, too, the reefs were of course long dead, due to the facts described above. So the game went on for hours. The driver spoke no English, he only knew the terms "20 minutes", "food" and "water". He met questions from the participants with an attentive grin and no answer. So we never knew whether we would ever arrive on Koh Lipe alive again or whether we would circumnavigate the world, go to the next spot or something else. At least he made an effort and the food was really okay. Unfortunately, I can't say anything else positive about the tour.
Not forgetting the thousands of mini jellyfish swimming everywhere in the water, which were literally a lot of fun. At 2 spots on this tour, it was impossible to stay in the water for more than 5 minutes without looking like you had just escaped alive from a dominatrix studio.
The captain went into the water with us from time to time and probably had a camera with him, which he diligently used to photograph corals and us. Whether this was for his own Facebook story or what happened to the pictures, nobody knows to this day. Maybe the modeling agency will contact me at some point.
Tip for everyone: forget snorkeling around Koh Lipe. I can recommend snorkeling Trips around Koh Kood.
Feedback on the response Adang Sea Divers response below:
We booked the tour locally and had email contact with a David beforehand. Too bad we were not told that jellyfish were breeding or that we were on the longtail boat. Maybe you can improve the communication in the future. Our driver wore a T-shirt with the inscription "Siam International Clinic". The tour took...
