Kwyteiyw Ban Suan Noodles — Restaurant in Ko Lipe

It's been my regular breakfast joint during my stay. They open from 6am, so perfect to drop by after watching sunrise. You could choose types of noodles and meat, and a big bowl of a noodle soup just cost 50THB (without meat 30THB). She also has Pad See Ew (60THB). If you're lucky enough they have a porridge in the early morning, but gets sold out very fast.

You could see how beloved this place is by the amount of locals come by for eat in and take away. The owners are loveliest and they keep the place clean and lovely with flowers and sea shells. They also have a wall with photos on how the community is keeping their culture.

Absolutely amazing! We were there in late December 2024 around 11 in the morning, lots of both local and some tourists eating.

They seemed to only serve one thing - boat noodles. We came in and immediately was asked chicken or pork, got sat down, they turned on a fan next to our table and then quickly the noodles came. They were amazing! Such good flavor in the soup. We added some chili, be careful here - it’s not like Arabic or Chinese chili oil.

I can’t recommend this place enough! Had we stayed longer on Koh Lipe, I’m sure we would have gone more times.

Also liked that it was not on the primary part of the walking street but a bit more quiet it seemed.

Located a short walk from the top of walking street, this simple restaurant offers a great value for money and delicious lunch option.

The lady serving speaks limited English, but you choose your meat (chicken / pork / mix) and your noodles and get a delicious pho-esque bowl. Chicken was 60 Bhat and mix was 80 - such good value for Koh Lipe. I expect if you Google translate 'dry' you could probably ask for that option if you wish.

You can add spice and peanuts to the broth at the table, so you can suit your taste.

For those who love authenticity in their food, this place will hit the spot....
