Charming Green — Restaurant in Surat Thani Province

I happened to walk past the restaurant while in Lamai and thought that the greenery and plant decor was beautiful. The staff member outside was very friendly and welcomed me in. They were great communicators and accommodated my allergy. The food was served very quickly and was absolutely delicious, I had the seafood Pad Thai. The meal was fresh and flavourful in genuine Thai style, with extra nuts and vegetable on the side of the dish. The staff also helped me get home, having numerous phone calls with the taxi driver until I was collected. I had such a great experience I returned the next day. I had the pineapple shake, which was so delicious I ordered a second one. I also had the pineapple fried rice with seafood and the banana in coconut milk for dessert. They have a wide menu and affordable prices. Great for solo travellers, couples or families....

Place looks gorgeous, but unfortunately couldn’t taste the food after waiting almost 2 hours you heard right for a food that never came . Look around restaurant was packed with a very frustrating faces around food was coming late to everyone , and not at the same time . When I ask the waitress where was my food she went to check and came back tell me that they run ou of my chicken satay that was my first meal of 4 dishes that why the food didn’t come , so I said how about come in the table 2 hours ago and tell me that so I would order something else . On my three week stay in Lamai I came here with my family at least 5+ times (including the night 3 days ago where I can see a lot of negative reviews have come from). We kept returning for good food, happy hour cocktails and a really lovely team of waiters. I can confirm we had many great meals and nights here (there’s a reason we chose to come here on my last night!). Not sure what happened on that night 3 days ago where there was an unusual wait time for food but I can recommend the restaurant, especially for the Pad Thai (with tofu and veg) and margaritas/mojitos. My only recommendation is to check with the waiter if your order is taking a little while to come out because usually meals are quite quick...
