Very Rude Manager! Terrible Food! DO NOT GO!

I have never had such rude service in my whole life! I myself ordered sweet n sour chicken with rice which was basic, nothing special and my partner ordered a pizza which was the worst pizza we have ever tasted. We do not like to cause a scene or be rude so my partner attempted to eat a whole 1 and a half slices but couldn’t stomach anymore it was that bad.

When the bill arrived I said that because the pizza tasted horrible we won’t be paying for it and can they take it off please. The manager (Old guy in flowery shirt) then said rudely “you order something you pay” which i responded “No we are paying for food to eat, we are paying for the service and will pay for everything but not the pizza as we couldn’t stomach it. Yes we ordered it, but we are expecting good food and we didn’t receive that” Manager: “You talk too fast! Where are you from?!” To which I explained again but slowly and he then responded “You talk too much!” And proceeded to walk away angry. He kept glaring at me whilst walking around the restaurant with an angry death stare and talking about us to his staff which I also found extremely rude!!

I waited for 10 minutes to see if he would come back over to have an adult, and mature conversation but I think he was trying to intimidate me to pay the full amount by having all the staff stare at me and my partner. After waiting and nobody coming over, we then paid the bill for everything except the pizza and proceeded to walk out. I have never seen someone come and collect the bill so fast when we stood up haha.

As we walked away I glanced back to see if the manager was following us but instead found him presenting two fingers up, to which I smiled and waved bye! And his response was giving me just the middle finger this time.

After getting WiFi I checked the reviews and found similar interactions with the same individual.

I felt sorry for the staff because it must be a nightmare having him as the boss, and whilst he remains employed in that role, then the business will carry on failing!!

He needs educating in how to run a business, customer service, staff wellbeing, basic manners and communication skills.

Hope he reads this review and realises what a disgrace of a manager he is with the way he treats staff & customers!

I urge potential customers to look elsewhere on walking street, and find somewhere where they know how to...

Food poisoning!

I hate to do this because the staff were very friendly to us and I know a food poisoning review is not taken lightly, but it needs to be written!

My partner and I ate here on May 3rd, we had a chicken Penang curry and a beef massaman curry. We waited an hour for our food which was no problem. As we started eating, I thought the chicken curry tasted off, but I checked the meat and it looked cooked and the reviews were good, so I finished it. Approx 30 minutes later I began to experience very severe stomach cramps and after two hours, the vomitting started. I got sick every 20 minutes for 3 hours and then hourly for the following 7 hours. I tried to take anti sickness medication but couldn't keep anything down, nor any fluids. Finally 10 hours after eating the curry the vomitting stopped. I spent the next two days asleep in bed and unable to eat. My partner has today (3 days later) started to experience stomach cramps but thankfully has a milder sickness. Some diarrhea, no vomitting, and is recovering a bit quicker than me.

Again I hate to write this because the staff were very nice to us but it ruined our time in Railay as we were confined to our room. I hope the restaurant sees this review and can address the issue. Customers, maybe best to eat vegetarian dishes only at...

We were very excited to eat here as my folks came here two years ago and ate here every night of their trip saying how awesome the food was. However tonight was the worst meal of our Thailand trip so far. My parents say this is not the food they were expecting. Problems - ordered the Thai fried basil beef dish with an egg. The egg which arrived was cold. The actual beef dish was the best of the night with egg fried rice. Next we ordered the Gyoza (shrimp). These were truly awful and the pastry tasted dry and old. We did not finish the dish. The Pad Thai was equally terrible. We ordered it with shrimp and it arrived with 3 shrimp and a bunch of tofu which was not good. The entire dish lacked a balance of flavour and was overtly sweet. The morning glory dish was also a bit bland and lacked flavour. The fresh spring rolls were problematic as the vegetables had not been cleaned and so the dish was super gritty and you could feel the sand when you chewed. Beers were fine and their margerita cocktail was very good. Overall we were very disappointed with our meal and definitely won't be back. Now having read the last few reviews I wonder if they had a change of chef as last three months reviews...
