Skunk House Bar — Restaurant in Krabi Province

TLDR; Luke warn coconut, bad service, and 200 baht for a Jack and Coke.

Went here two nights, first night for dinner, 2nd night for drinks and pool.

First night we had the green curry and Pad Thai, and they were alright. Disappointing though that the whole coconut was room temperature.

2nd day ordered two Jack and Cokes and a whole coconut, asking this time if it was cold (in Thai), and the waitress said it was. Coconut came Luke warm again! Asked them this time to take the coconut and turn it into a coconut smoothie. They brought back a slightly colder than room temperature roughly blended drink, with large chunks of coconut flesh. Ended up putting in the ice from the Jack and cokes to give it some sort of refreshing feeling.

Then got the bill, and they charged us 200 BAHT FOR THE JACK AND COKES! absolutely...

I had a so-so experience here. I was happy that they have a vegetarian menu; however, most of it has fish sauce and oyster sauce in it (so not vegan friendly at all) so make sure to ask for it without fish and oyster sauce!

Also, we ordered the panang vegetable tofu curry and it came with a sad 6 pieces of tofu and 20 green peas. SO DISSATISFYING! We spoke to 3 servers and finally the manager and he added a bit more clear broth and more veggies for free. So we were happy with the management’s help but disappointed by the food to begin with.

Overall, I’d say check it out once and then you don’t ever...

Warning ⚠️ Scam!!!! The guy in front seems nice at first to lure you in. They will scam you and charge for everything. Don't come here and tell other people about it! If you send something back for the horrible quality it is, they will offer you more or something else and still charge you double. The shakes don't work, for all the other people at the bar neither. They gave us two more which also were just banana shakes and charged 2000 baht. The worst experience of our Thailand...
