Best meal I had in Krabi. We come from Texas and spent time at the border, so Mexican food (and Tex-Amex) are our favorites. This is a good Mexican food restaurant. They have some other options available, but we only ate the fish and the Mexican food. We tried several items such as quesadillas, fajitas, burritos, tacos and a grilled fish. We also had hibiscus tea. It was an iced hibiscus tea with ginger and mint. I recommend it. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The owner was very fun and created a great atmosphere.
Let’s talk taste: The food is delicious. The beef was seasoned well, but a little more chewy than I prefer. The chicken was white meat, so that is a rare special treat in Thailand. The beans were good and all the condiments seemed authentic, fresh with good flavor. We tried the pork quesadilla, which was also delicious. It had great flavor, but a little different than usual. The guacamole was a great condiment for the tacos and fajitas. The pico and the guacamole had a slight sweetness, kind of like a mango salsa. I also believe the tortillas are freshly made (homemade).
With all that being said, this was the best meal I had in Krabi. My favorite Mexican food in Thailand is in Chiang Mai, but I definitely recommend...
Read moreMy wife and I decided to go here after reading the reviews. Both decided on a selection of mixed soft tacos and a portion of fries. The chicken tacos consisted of sliced cold chicken, a dash of limp salad, the beef and pork likewise. The prawn taco was at least warm , but had a single prawn. There had been no attempt to season any of the meat tacos, they rely on the dips provided to do this, that along with being cold made them inedible. The fries never arrived. Our tacos bore no resemblance to the photos on the internet. The staff while friendly are obviously terrified of the female owner , who has a overbearing approach, whilst she was taking out order, she dropped everything to greet other customers, very rude. In her credit she did take off the price of one of our beers, but that did not make up for the fact I left most of mine, only eating the prawn taco and just taking a small bite from the other two. Given the above , this place should be avoided, as its poor and expensive. I cannot believe the great...

The tortillas were fresh and delicious. Otherwise, some items served didn’t match the menu description (ie missing dressing) and the server didn’t do much to communicate with the kitchen or try to fix it.
Enchiladas were ok but where is the enchilada sauce it was more like a jarred red salsa. The “Carne asada” wasn’t anything special, no seasoning.
Rice was a bit old and small portion, if a platter has Mexican rice/beans you would expect a decent portion not a small scoop.
The inside looks like cinco de mayo yakked, random “Mexican” looking things on strewn all over the walls distract you from the not so clean floors walls and bathrooms. (A toilet exploded and no one cared to look after it) Can’t see the kitchen so who knows what’s going on back there..
This place shows great promise but they’re slightly missing the mark due to cutting some corners or perhaps lazy...
