We stayed here in an overwater villa. Room size is definitely a positive factor in this review, the room was very spacious.

From the outside, everything looked fine upon arrival, this changed quickly once we entered the “villa”. The AC was not working, they had to send a maintenance guy to fix it, this is at 11.30 pm after a long flight in. It took them about 1 hour to fix the AC. We didn’t want to be negative and just said, hey this can happen let’s not be negative. Unfortunately once we settled down and wanted to take a shower, the disappointment continued. The bathroom inside was very outdated, the tub was dirty and we did not feel comfortable bowering in there, luckily, there is an outdoor shower…. Very short lived hope… while the outdoor shower is a nice feature, it sucks that the people in the building behind you, specifically on the second floor can see right on yiur shower from their room/balcony. I cannot comment on all the rooms but our room in particular had no cover for privacy with respect to the outdoor shower. Additionally, the drains in the outdoor shower did not work. Please see the attached pictures for additional information.

We asked at the front desk if we could switch rooms but they did not have any other room available so we had to deal with what we had. It was a very unfortunate and uncomfortable feeling.

As we were not planing on spending much time in the room anyway we just dealt with it.

After the disappointing shower, we were excited to finally lay down and get a nice rest, this was also short lived. The bed was two queen size beds ou bed together which made for great space, however, I cannot confirm that there was a mattress on the frame, to my feeling it was just a no spring with some cushioning, needless to say, it was very uncomfortable and it also made a lot of noise when turning or getting up.

The bathroom was nothing special, low water pressure in the toilet, it barley flushed down when you went to the bathroom. Would rate the bathroom 4/10, it’s really in need of an upgrade.

In the villa we had a nice balcony, the cushions in the chairs were old and not comfortable as such we did not spend much time out there, lastly, the water colour of the lake that you are overviewing will not encourage you to spend time on the balcony despite the stunning background scenery.

Now to the positive, which unfortunately is very little. Location is 12/10, you have everything around you in short walking distances. Nightlife is great around the resort and yet when you go to your room, you don’t hear it at all!

I will only give the service 2 stars becuase it was nothing special. It was my partners birthday during our stay and I had contacted the hotel prior to arriving to make arrangements for said birthday, I was told even if I pay, they won’t do anything it’s not something they offer. Yet when I went in person to complain about the room and the service, a manger magically had the room decorated the next day as an “apology” for not doing it in the actual birthday, while I can appreciate the kind gesture, this could have been done when I requested…

There is one person at this resort that gets 30/10 for his excellent service. One of the staff at the front desk by the name of Aut, is an exceptional person who made everything more enjoyable. He was the most kind, honest, and helpful person at the resort. He booked us tours for very good prices and the tours he book us were very good and the guides were helpful and took care of us. He even apologized for the trouble we had with the room and tried everything to help us! One night there were bad mosquitoes, he came up to my partner and I right away and offered us a cream to help us deal with the itching! Aut, you made the stay enjoyable!

To summarize, location is great and I can understand that this resort among others is still recovering from COVID-19, however the resort urgently needs some updating and...

We had a two week holiday at the hotel. First week was heaven and the second week was just OK and the last day was hell (Horror bugs!)

Tips we learned for the firts time travellers: Private airport transportation is about 500-650 From Ao nang to Krabi town nightmarket the "bus" is only 50 per person. It leaves from the beach every 20minutes. One of the best cheap food places you can get is on the peace laguna hotel street 50-80bath, runned by a family. Also the best streetfood thainoodles you can get cheap is from the little corner booth by the beach, opposide of the expensive but good restaurant Reeves. RENT A SCOOTER!

First week: Only few people and no children. Pools were not growded and the vibe in the hotel staff was very nice.

Second week: Lots more people and the hotel was fully booked. That showed as overgrouded pools and few seats at the breakfast tables. Lots of children screaming and the staff was somewhat annoyed at everything. It's was like a totally different hotel with different vibe. We were lucky to see the first week of heaven.

Room: We had a room "upgrade" to superior when we got to the hotel, but it was a second floor of one of the two floor bungalos. Not what we expected as a bungalo by the lake, because the view was to the pool. But it was okay and we are not that picky. The rooms are very dark and the lights are nonexistent (for a good reason, bugs!) The rooms have seen their best days for sure and the "hottub" was very filthy and bubble function was not usable. Outdoor shower was not great and the hotel next door could defenetly see us naked if they were on balcony. Cleaning at first was okay, it happend by the morning when we left the hotel and when we came back afternoon the room was clean. After first week we wanted to change the sheets because they were starting to get dirty after eating in bed. We left few nice notes to the cleaner to change the sheets, but we could every day find the ketchup stain in the sheets, just turned around. After this we just left the cleaning note to change sheets every day and that worked. This was very annoying and very wastefull to get them to change sheets every day, but they weren't changed in 10 days. Remember to put the "cleaning note" to get fresh sheets everyday. By the second week the cleaning routine changed and the ok cleaning changed to just bad. We could came back to the hotel at six pm and the cleaning was just starting in our room. This was very annoying after a long day of travel and hiking around, to not get in shower right away. Also I have to say that we know the standart for cleaning in thailand is very different to european, but getting only new toilet paper and the trash thrown out is not what you would expect in a hotel cleaning with sandy beaches.

Breakfast: It was very good and the main food changed every day. If you eat well at morning, you can survive a half day hike without a worry with this breakfast. But! It is not like a typical fancy european breakfast with 6 different types of bread and pastryes. Just a good basic breakfast!

Lake and the surroundings: All in all very beautifull surroundings. View to the mountain was epic. Everything was green and well managed outside. The lake was not smelly and there were no mosquitos at the time we visited. The pools were nice and somewhat "private" if you can get a chair at...

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful hotel with friends from 24/02 to 06/03/2024. We haven't even left, and we already want to come back. The hotel is fantastic! The location, the natural beauty, and the atmosphere inside the hotel made our stay unforgettable! We've been vacationing in Thailand for several years, but this stay at the hotel was the most impressive.

The staff is amazing! From our late check-in, everything was handled at the highest level. Smiling hotel staff greeted us with a welcome drink, swiftly arranged our rooms, and delivered our luggage. During our stay, it was my wife's birthday. I contacted the hotel manager in advance and requested extended room decoration and a bouquet of flowers. The surprise exceeded expectations — the room was beautifully adorned with balloons, signs, roses petals, starting from the bed to the bathroom. Everything was made from natural flowers and leaves. The flower bouquet and white swans on the bed were stunning. The staff presented a festive cake with candles and a song for my wife, done so professionally that she didn't expect the celebration at that moment.

The hotel exudes tranquility and relaxation, immersing you in an atmosphere of unity with nature. The hotel is very green, with numerous palm trees, various trees, a cascade with a waterfall, a lake with fish, squirrels, birds, and friendly monitor lizards. The hotel employees are constantly doing something on the premises, taking care of the appearance — watering, trimming bushes, cutting coconuts and dried branches, etc. This does not disturb the relaxation since they do it almost imperceptibly and noiselessly. The staff is very friendly everywhere, from the reception to housekeeping and the restaurant.

The breakfasts are delicious and varied, with an effort to add something new to the menu every day to avoid repetition. There are fruits, juices, yogurts, omelets, rice, noodles, soup, chicken, sausages, salads, pastries, honey in combs, and more. You won't go hungry for sure. Lunch is also available at reasonable prices. Sometimes, the hotel organizes a dinner buffet for an additional fee. There is also inexpensive ice cream to cool you down a bit after a long stay in the sun.

The hotel has three pools with loungers, and you can always get clean towels. The rooms are cozy and maximally comfortable. We stayed in a Deluxe Cottage on the second floor. The room was large, with its terrace where you could lie down and relax away from the bright sun. The room always had clean and snow-white towels, and the 4 bottles of 0.5 liters of water were replenished daily. There was a coffee machine with capsules, a refrigerator, a kettle, tea, etc. But what stood out the most was the outdoor shower, where you take a shower, and around you are the sky and palm trees — it was amazing.

Special thanks to the manager, Natthita Anne. She is a highly qualified employee who professionally performs her duties. She paid so much attention to us, making sure everything was okay, asking if we needed any help. Every time we passed by the reception, she accompanied us with a pleasant and friendly smile. It felt like we had known her for many years.

Huge thanks to the entire hotel for our wonderful stay! It was unbelievably...

To summarize, location is great and I can understand that this resort among others is still recovering from COVID-19, however the resort urgently needs some updating and renovations.

We had a two week holiday at the hotel. First week was heaven and the second week was just OK and the last day was hell (Horror bugs!) Tips we learned for the firts time travellers: Private airport transportation is about 500-650 From Ao nang to Krabi town nightmarket the "bus" is only 50 per person. The pools were nice and somewhat "private" if you can get a chair at the morning.

It was unbelievably fantastic!!!
