Without doubt the best Thai food we have tried in Ao nang! Located and is part of the Dusit hotel, being part of the dusit group you would expect quality and it was.
Upon entering you are escorted by the greeter who will sit you at a table of your choice, you can sit outside in the warm or choose to sit inside in the cool. We looked at all the seating and chose outside for the warmth. All seating and deco inside and out is very trendy, clean and comfortable.
The menu is limited but there are thai food and western foods plus a few vegetarian options. I went for the vegetarian thai green curry my girlfriend took the cashew chicken and her daughter took the holy basil chicken. Every meal was very tasty, a good portion size and very well presented. The green curry was fantastic, thick and loaded with the vegetables associated with a green curry. There were even the bitter pea looking veg which a lot of places dont put. The curry came with a good spicy kick, not cooked for westerners so if you dont like the green curry spicy make sure you request it not spicy as you could be in for a shock. I like a bit of kick and this was great, enough to tingle the taste buds but not enough to numb them so you cant enjoy the food. A thick sauce which I like and the tofu had a crispy shell with soft inside, PERFECT! My girlfriend and her daughter said all their food was tasty and definitely the best we have had during our stay in Ao Nang!
A fair selection of drinks on offer, we took 3 cocktails, a pina colas, cosmopolitan and a local special. These were yet again really good, not overloaded with the cheap thai whiskey and garnished well (little rubber ducky was cute)
Service was very helpful, swift and friendly even putting the napkins on your lap like they would when fine dining. Good music playing in the background, not to load so you cant talk but enough so you can enjoy it and relax.
There is a lunch discount option that looks good value as you get a drink and some fruit for free with a food order, this would be a great lunch/brunch option!!
Slightly more expensive than the other restaurants but trust me, for the extra cash you will enjoy the food experience more a lot more!! 3 thai dishes, 3 cocktails and 2 beers will set you back around 1800b.
A fantastic place to enjoy some fantastic thai food and well worth a visit if its within your...

Came here for a birthday meal and sent the food back because it was so bad. Ruined birthday.
We ordered Massaman curry fettuccini and duck with orange sauce.
There's no way either one should have left the kitchen. I knew as soon as the plate hit the table the chef didn't know what they were doing.
Duck dish: broccoli was yellowing, over salted, over cooked and worst of all stone cold. The mash had lumps. LUMPS!! This isn't a school cafeteria. I'm not talking about one or two small lumps but big lumps in every spoon. And the duck, I didn't need to taste it to know it was massively overcooked. When I did try it it was as tough as boot leather. I wouldn't pay 100 baht for it let alone 420 (plus 17% "service" charge and "tax": absolute joke by the way).
The Massaman curry was more like a thin soup than a sauce, it didn't have potatoes or nuts and the flavour was watery - it couldn't even be called a Massaman. The waitress told me "it's a Thai curry" as if I haven't made/eaten 100 different Massaman curries before.
If there are items on the menu the chef should know how to cook them.
The staff were OK, we sent the meals back and left. Fortunately we weren't charged...
Read moreVisited this restaurant with family on a Saturday evening. The ambience and food were good, but our experience was soured by a server named ‘Tam.’
We were seated quickly, and Tam initially served us the food and drink menus. We also had two complimentary coupons from our stay at the Holiday Inn, where this restaurant is located. However, as soon as we showed him the coupons, he took away our food menu and replaced it with a small drinks-only menu, without offering any explanation.
Thankfully, another server, who was kind and attentive, later assisted us and brought back the food menu. When we mentioned Tam’s behavior, they didn’t acknowledged or said anything about him being rude. It was clear that language wasn’t a barrier, as Tam was warm and welcoming to other white guests. Unfortunately, it seems like he didn’t want to serve us because of our Indian ethnicity, which was disappointing. And they do charge mandatory service charge of 10% which I felt bad to give with service I got from Tam.
Good food and ambience, but such discriminatory behavior is...
