TLDR: Beware; hit or miss. Very disappointing. Poor customer service.
We came here twice in the past week. The first time we had a great time, the food was delicious, well priced and the atmosphere was decent, especially the music.
The secondi was a very different experience. Some dishes were just as good as the first time we went, but others were lacklustre. A few were quite dry, flavourless, and the worst offence of all; we ordered scallops and when we tried them they were inedible. The flavour wasn’t the issue as much as the fact that they were stale, and tasted gone off.
We brought this to the attention of the waiters as we had ordered 3 portions, totalling about B800, and we used a translation app to explain to them that the dishes were gone off, and asked them to take them away basically untouched (we had eaten maybe 3 among the group of 6 of us).
They then told us that they would comp 1 of the 3 from our bill, and we would still have to pay for 2. We asked one of the staff to comp the other two because it wasn’t our fault they were stale but still, they said we had to pay for one.
This would be an entirely different review if we just hadn’t liked the taste of the food, but the fact that we were returning customers, that had ordered about B7,000 worth of food and drinks between the 2 visits, yet they still made us pay for inedible, stale food that they themselves served us was unbelievable and...
Read moreDo NOT go here!!! A total waste of money for disgusting food!!! I ordered the butter chicken from their menu — it tasted like a bland, flavorless sauce with zero aroma. Butter chicken is supposed to be creamy and slightly sweet, but this was inedible. I asked for sugar to fix the taste, and the staff — who don’t understand even basic English like “sugar” — took my plate away. After 5–10 minutes, they brought it back exactly the same but now with chili! I hate spicy food!
The service was completely clueless. They thought “sugar” meant “chili” and just added it in. My boyfriend had a burger that was as dry as a shoe sole — even other guests around us had to add sauces and seasonings to make it edible. He asked whether the side dish was fries or chips, and again, the staff didn’t understand and thought he said “cheese” — which they then charged us for.
The chicken in my dish was awful, full of gristle and small bones, making it impossible to eat. I felt sick and couldn’t finish the meal, and it ruined the rest of my evening — I had no appetite left.
The place might look nice from the outside, but it’s all fake — a rotten core hidden under a pretty shell. Whatever you order, expect to finish cooking or seasoning it yourself, because this restaurant has no idea how food should actually taste. Avoid...
Read moreExtremely reluctantly, I’m giving one star to this restaurant, cuz obviously this app doesn’t allow me to rate minus five stars even though that’s exactly how I feel. First, the food is bad. It amazed us of how Thai food can possibly be made so poorly. The shrimp costs us 850 and it actually smells and tastes as if it has been out there for many days. The juice is not even fresh, even though it’s 90 per tiny little cup. They make these out of the cheap syrup stuff, in this town where fresh fruit is so cheap and practically everywhere. My friend and I have been here for over a week and we loved Thai food. We’ve been to more than 15 restaurants and cafes and I’m telling you this is the worst restaurant we’ve ever been to. Second, there’s absolutely no service at all. Also, when we spoke to the manager, her attitude was like as if we did something wrong. Third, the price is totally not worth it. We spent 1390, with three dishes, all of which we barely touched. We still can’t believe we actually just had such food in this town filled with nice food. Honestly, the experience here has extremely impaired my entire impression of my trip in Krabi. Friends, if you still want to hold on to your nice vacation experience here, I strongly urge you think twice, if not a thousand times, before you entrer...
