Daily Dose Patong — Restaurant in Patong

We had been having a really good time at this place, food was delicious and decent, the service was a bit all over the place but I expect this with a language barrier. However my score is due to the customer service we received. We were a table of 6 people and when we were sorting the bill, one went to move her glass but it got caught on the coaster and tipped over and smashed. We didn’t think anything of it, proceeded to clean it up, etc, and then the waitress says “and 100baht for the broken glass”. We were all shocked. I went up to speak to the waitress who then sent me to the manager who then proceeded to tell me that we needed to pay for the glass. I explained that I have never even seen a restaurant charge so much as for a broken dish in my life, and that surely as a food venue, cutlery and dishware is part of their budget. But no. He insisted that if they didn’t pay he would have to and he wasn’t going to do it. I said it would be cheaper for me to pop out to the street and buy a glass and bring it back to him but nope. Nothing. I thought this was an incredible shame as we genuinely had been having a lovely lunch here, but it left us all with a bad taste in our mouth and I’m surprised at the bad policy and customer service. Based on this, I would not recommend. If you were drunk and broke something I understand, but accidents happen all the time and it does genuinely make me wonder if they would dock the staff’s salary for accidental breakages too, which I also don’t...

We went to eat at this restaurant in the late morning. It has been well received. The waiting time for food and drinks was also not long. We ordered the hotdog and shrimp pita, which are the signatures of this place. They were delicious, and we really liked them. The drink we ordered was arovela mixed with basil and lemongrass and booster drinks with a mixture of honey and lemon juice We think they did a great job mixing it up. We drink it and feel refreshed for dessert, we ordered brioche toast which was served with vanilla ice cream. Perfect Beachfront Brunch Spot!

We had an amazing brunch at this beautiful beachfront spot! The food was fresh, healthy, and absolutely delicious—just what we needed to start the day right. Everything tasted super fresh, and you could tell a lot of care went into every dish.

The view was stunning, with the ocean breeze making the whole experience even better. And the service? Top-notch! Our waiter, Tonkhaow, was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome, adding to the laid-back, relaxing vibe.
