Zero star place! "Extremely disappointed" with the cheap tricks played by the servers and the owner of this place. They cheated us. Men in our group wanted to play snooker/pool is why we landed here. We reached at 12.30 AM and asked if they serve food. One lady server said, "yes" and after 2 minutes I spoke to another server said "No", and the first one started rolling her eyes. So the cheating started from here. Then they gave us wrong bill and took extra money from us. When we fought back, they said they cannot pay us back. When we got angry about the bill, they say "f**k off" to us!! These lady servers are extremely good with all the games in the bar (so unless you are a champion, you will mostly lose with them). They will offer to play with you and if you lose you need to buy them lady drinks (tequila shots), they will also call you "loser" or say "shame shame" when you lose. They literally fall on all the men...

I had not had a beer all week so was going to be a treat as I had been working so much. Bartender was very chatty which was annoying because I was chilling . I asked where she was from. She said I should know I read it on the internet. Then kept on totally being rude and insulting me. I think her name was Sol. Man this ruined my night. there is something fishy with this place. Thai people are always so nice. I cannot imagine why anyone would treat a customer like that. I was totally sober left my full beer on the bar tipped her because they are all having a tough time these days - but it totally ruined my day. So I am writing this review....

Drinks are not particularly cheap and the toilets are pretty basic. However!!! The staff are great fun and the owner is fantastic. She has spent the last few years raising funds to build and run a school for girls in her home village. So, if you feel like giving something back to this amazing country, pop into the Dolphin, have a drink and if you have a spare 1000bt sponsor a young girls education...
