Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay (December 2024, 21-29). And we really wanted to enjoy it. The main problems: Constant construction and maintenance. I cannot comprehend why this is taking place during the Christmas/new year period and not during the rainy season. They didn’t have time now to prepare new rooms before the New Year holiday, so why not wait till this busy period for guests is over? Rather than annoy all the guests who have paid a lot of money to be there Constant drilling, our room was next to a construction site, smells of paint, cement, full of dust which came to our room every day. In order to reach our room we had to climb over sheets of plastic, cardboard and materials. Also, so many construction workers wandering around near our room which made us feel nervous. Balcony wasn’t cleaned for a week and was so dirty because of the construction We were told our room was “brand new” but the WiFi didn’t work inside the room, only on the balcony. And the shower flooded after about 30 seconds. On our last day, we came home late to find the bathroom flooded with sewage. We spent 12-2 am waiting to fix this problem until they told us it “wasn’t possible to fix” Their solution was that we stay inside our room with raw sewage all over the floor, and to go downstairs if we need the bathroom. We said we are not happy with this and they said we can spend the night in another room- which was a worse room than the one we had booked. We booked the room with a balcony and pool view and we were moved to a room overlooking an extremely busy and noisy road, the bed was VERY uncomfortable and the air conditioning unit is positioned so it blows into your faces on the bed. We had to turn it off and we slept horribly in this room. They later told us we had “agreed to move to the new room”, like we had a choice. Our originally booked room was uninhabitable The breakfast was average and there was some garbage like drink cans and cigarettes in the swimming pool. Also, the hotel is extremely loud with cleaners and staff constantly moving big trolleys and heavy equipment everywhere on a wooden floor, making it so loud to relax by the pool. A lot of spaces in the hotel were filled with all kinds of stuff like mattresses, old furniture that made us feel like we are living in a storage facility. We’ve stayed in a lot of hotels on Phuket and it’s the first time we experienced a hotel with a real mosquito problem. Our legs were covered in bites despite the balcony being closed. Our elite room with pool view had some small issues: the fridge inside the wardrobe vibrates and shakes and makes noise. We arrived at 15:00 and the room wasn’t ready. We couldn’t check in till 16:30. Some guests were offered welcome drinks and we weren’t. Zero consistency The swimming pool next to the buffet area is far too small for the amount of guests. There are about ten beds for hundreds of guests. Hotel is generally smelly and also seems no policy on guests smoking marijuana wherever they want We also didn’t appreciate that taxi drivers, tuk-tuk drivers and other sellers are entering the reception/lobby area looking for business. The last thing you want is to be harassed like that in the hotel. I even saw some reception stuff laughing and joking with some drivers like they were friends. I completely understand people are looking for work but they should be a little further from the hotel reception. The hotel must be a place for relaxation and not where you are chased for money. We are happy with the area because it’s quiet if you take an elite room. There are many shops and cafes nearby, with the beach and mall. The staff were friendly and we are happy that our complaint about the room was resolved without too much stress and we were compensated. However, they initially refused to take our complaint seriously. We just wanted to be treated like human beings and offered an apology. We were not interested in a 50% discount for a foot massage, or a drink coupon at the bar. Sadly we will look for alternative hotels next time in Phuket.

DON'T STAY HERE AND AVOID DISTRESS DURING YOUR HOL! This hotel just ruined our holiday during our stay there. We booked the so called 4-star hotel after reading the raving reviews on Booking.com and now after our experience, we questioned the credibility of those reviews, as mentioned by some reviewers who have had terrible experiences there. This is FAR from being a 4-star hotel, more like 2 stars or some dodgy, musty smelling motel. The corridor also smelled of cigarettes and occasionally, there would be big bare-bodied dripping wet men walking around in towels after hitting the pool and making all the floor wet and taking the lift. Absolutely ZERO quality and standard. Breakfast was dreadful and didn't do any justice to the wonderful Thai cuisine. Our window view was some old building with dirty surroundings (pics attached). We kept the window shut at all times because of it. The room was tiny and the bathroom smelled. The bathroom was pure filth with white deposits and gunk on the taps and shower area. It came to a point where we tried our best to spend as much time outside the hotel even in the stormy rain and as late as possible just to avoid being in the hotel room. We couldn't even spend time in the lobby area as it was all open air, small, hot and humid (or wet when it rained). That goes the same for their restaurant bar. The hotel is under construction but nowhere on Booking.com was it mentioned. It was our first time in Phuket thus all the more upsetting. Don't feel compelled to stay here because of the location. Yes, the location is good but you have plenty of other choices of hotels in equally good location, within the same price range and are quality, clean and proper. That's exactly what we did - we didn't extend our stay there and instead found a fabulous hotel nearby where we stayed in bliss for the next few nights. Just DON'T ruin your holiday and exercise options!!!!!

My friend and I stayed at Burasari Phuket for just one night, but it honestly felt like the perfect little escape. Right from the start, the staff were so kind and welcoming that we felt at home straight away. The hotel has such a calm and relaxing vibe. There are two pools, and our room was right above one of them, which made it feel really private and special. The room itself was cozy, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We also really enjoyed the food. The Thai dishes we tried were full of flavor, and breakfast had plenty of choices to start the day right. The bar was another highlight for us, with great cocktails at prices much cheaper than outside. One of the best parts of the stay was definitely the spa. I booked the Sleep Therapy treatment, and it was beyond amazing. The atmosphere was so peaceful, the therapist was professional, and the massage left me feeling completely refreshed and relaxed. It was exactly what I needed to unwind, and it really made the whole trip feel extra special. The service here also deserves a mention. I forgot my charger, and without hesitation the staff found one for me to use. It might seem like a small thing, but it showed how thoughtful and caring they were throughout our stay. The location is also a big plus. Only a short walk from Patong Beach, so everything is close by, but once you’re back at the hotel it feels like a quiet little hideaway. Even though it was just a one-night stay, I left with such a great impression. Between the spa, the food, the pool, and the wonderful staff, everything came together to make it memorable. I’d definitely recommend Burasari Phuket to anyone visiting Patong, and I’d love to return for a longer stay next time.

There are lots of good things about Burasari. It's an amazing location. 2mins from the beach and shops. The hotel is nice, staff are very welcoming and helpful, and the room we had was the Mood Suite, which was large with a wrap-around balcony overlooking the street and a jacuzzi. The free minibar is great too. Beds are huge and very comfortable. Our bathroom was large with double basin and walk-in shower. Breakfast was decent and food we had from room service was pretty good. We had one set meal from the restaurant that was also pretty good. The room's with swim up pools looked OK but glad I didn't pay the extra for one, because they all connected to a loop-shaped pool that looked pretty crowded to me. The main pool was great - there are limited loungers which meant it was never crowded and always a chilled out vibe when we went. So that's all the good stuff.

We booked the Mood Suite for 4 nights in August 2023, which was a very large, nicely laid out room on the 3rd floor, with a jacuzzi. When we first walked in the room, our mood was 'excited'.

On our second full day, our bathroom ceiling light and extractor fan stopped working. Then we noticed the pump for the jacuzzi didn't work, and that the TV wouldn't switch on, as power sockets on that side of the room weren't working. Maintenance fixed the lights, but couldn't fix the rest so offered to move us to another Mood Suite.

The mood had changed from excited to 'inconvenienced'.

Our second room seemed better. Everything electrical was working. My mood was now 'Relieved'. For moving us, the hotel provided us with a platter of fruit, which was a nice touch and appreciated. Mood now 'Content'.

That night we filled the jacuzzi to find the cold water tap didn't work and it was full of scaldingly hot water. We reported it, had the maintenence crew assess it, who initially reported it to reception as 'working normally' but quickly withdrew that. We were told they could fix it but needed a few hours, so we arranged to go out the next day for them to do that. Mood now 'annoyed'.

After 3.5hrs at the beach my wife returned to find they hadn't been. They arrived shortly after and began lifting the jacuzzi to find the problem. Approx 2hrs later (6pm) we told them to put it back and leave. They said it could not be fixed during our stay. Mood had risen to 'irate' and was now 'unsurprised and disappointed'.

For the jacuzzi mess they offered us a free set meal in the restaurant and late checkout, which was also appreciated but was no consolation really. Let's be clear - the jacuzzi is the only reason to book that room, and it was broken in 2 of them. (To be fair, we were offered a move to a 3rd Mood Suite, but we'd had enough by then, so declined).

The jacuzzi's are not like modern hottubs. They are large ceramic baths with a few jets in them, and are pretty old. They really need replacing.

So, aside of the Jacuzzis, the Mood Suite sets the mood through subdued (soft) lighting. This looks great and is very romantic, but having so little lighting it's hard to see/find anything, especially at night, but also in the daytime with all the curtains wide open. There are only 4 ceiling lights in the main room, and it needs additional ceiling lights above the bed and the entrance hall to flick on if you need to, say, find something in your suitcase. If booking this room, pack a headtorch.

To conclude, I recommend the hotel and would stay there again, but only in one of the standard rooms. From what I've seen, it isn't worth paying for the upgrades in my opinion, unless you want that swim up room experience and don't mind it being crowded at times. I would avoid the Mood Suite like the plague. The Jacuzzis are seriously underwhelming to look at and it's a shame I couldn't review what they're actually like to use. Also, being right on the street makes the Mood Suites the noisiest rooms in the hotel, with tuktuk discos driving by til 2am each night.

Final summary: Definitely a hotel I would stay at again but I'd avoid the fancy rooms. The place is clearly starting to...

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay (December 2024, 21-29). And we really wanted to enjoy it.

TLDR: DO NOT STAY HERE — IT IS A DISGUSTING HOTEL!!!! I stayed in several types of rooms at this hotel (because each room had issues) and I can confidentially say all of the rooms are terrible. More details below.

Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely not a 4 star hotel - more like a BAD 3 star.

My first night I was in the standard hotel room, the room had cockroaches and mysterious gross yellow stains on the sheets! I complained but they said they were all sold out and couldn’t do anything until the morning when a new room opened (I got in late, so had no choice but to stay there that night).

Second night, they offered a deep clean of the room - I said absolutely not and I wanted my money back and to cancel my stay. They said I couldn’t b/c I had booked through trip.com and that I would have to fight it with them (important detail, remember for later)… I was in tears and other guests were looking at us, and so they gave me a slightly better room, but I had to wait from 8am - 2pm for it. So I was shower-less, wandering the streets until they could give me my new hotel room.

I got in and room #2 had a AC leak problem. I’m talking puddles of water on the floor. It took the technician an hour to fix (meanwhile they let in several mosquitos that bite me all night)… only for me to wake at 4am to the sounds of dripping water… the AC was leaking again.

I complained again, and they said they would move me to an even better room, the honeymoon suite. I said I didn’t want that, I just wanted my money back, they said no again, but this time they drafted a document offering me the upgraded room and a massage, and asked that I sign that I would not try to get money back from Trip.com if I accepted these offers.

I said absolutely not. I called trip.com, who said do not sign anything as trip.com was still fighting my case for a refund. Trip.com said that the hotel legally has to give me another room w/o me signing anything.

So legally the hotel still had to give me the room but took away the massage b/c I wouldn’t sign the document.

The Honeymoon suite was also not that good. It needs renovations and is 100% not worth the price they charge for it.

Weeks later Trip.com is still fighting my case, and despite me NOT signing the document the manager (I believe her name is Devi) lied to Trip.com and said I accepted a room upgrade + massage so the case is not valid for a refund. Good thing I didn’t sign the document, because there is no proof of such a thing. I got word today that this hotel won’t even answer Trip.com’s communications so they themselves are refunding partial of my stay (I have pictures to prove my terrible stay so they cannot deny the issues i’ve had).

Please do yourself a favor and DO NOT book here. It is a terrible hotel. Truly disgusting and awful. I cannot post my videos but adding pics of yellow stained sheets and some of the...
