Okay, let's start like this. We stayed in this place for 10 days, breakfast was included. From my point of view, our room was fine, but...there are some things which are simply unacceptable. The staff barely speaks English. That was the first and one of the most shocking things, then, upon arrival, we could not check-in, but it was not their fault, the agency made a mess (Jungle Tribe sucks), after that, the restaurant which is part of the hotel is not that expensive but the staff is rude, not all of them, to be honest, for example, upon arrival we did not have boiling water which we mix with the cooled one to make baby formula, the lady who was opening the restaurant was refusing to give us boiling water, that was a bit shocking especially if we consider that Thai people are crazy about babies. Then, the view was amazing, with two swimming pools, 2 bars, and a nice restaurant that works only for breakfast. There are 2 bars, but it seems that they miss more people, especially if the working hours are from 11 AM up to 8 PM, they should start operating at 11, not at 11.3 or later. Breakfast was buffet style, with many different dishes but no rotation. It is how it is, not so many choices, but it was just great. The QR code found in your room does not fit the device at the counter at the restaurant, so if you want to order food or room service after breakfast, you have to go there. The lobby area is nice and tidy, but it's like in hell, too hot. There are many places where you can charge your phone, there is a luggage room, and in general, the staff members are polite, except for the girl mentioned above, and the front desk ladies. The housekeeping staff is very professional, they clean everything, replace water, and towels, they make your bed, the bed sheets are a bit old and damaged. The most annoying thing is that the walls are so thin, you can hear the next-door couple making love like they are in your bed. Rooms are equipped with ac devices so you will not feel too hot.
A big thank you to the lady who cleaned our room, simply because the baby was eating cookies everywhere and we left baby toys, and a big bag to be thrown.
In general, this place will meet your expectations if your standards are not so demanding. I was a hotel staff, and I know how the business operates, and this place is far away from the top exclusive hotel. As I said, for a 2-week stay with breakfast included, it's just above the average.
Also, whoever replies here, uses the template answer, and they do not improve their service at all.
Big bravo for a few staff members who made our short...
Read moreWe originally booked to stay here for 1 week but we have extended twice and ended up staying for weeks.
The staff - excellent service, always available to help either by room phone or in the lobby
The rooms - rooms are better than advertised, beds are big and comfortable, the room is spacious and the bathroom is amazing, you have a place to hang your clothes, nice flat screen TV, aircon works perfectly and is adjustable.
Breakfast - plenty of range of breakfast from whichever part of the world you are from, we stayed for 3 weeks and didn’t get bored of it.
Food - the restaurant and pool bar serves some of the best food we had whilst staying in Phuket, the prices were completely fair too, we was expecting them to cost a lot more!
Services - the gym had everything you need from cardio to free weights, has amazing air conditioning, clean towels to use and modern equipment (there is even a ping pong table just outside the gym). The massages are WOW. Professional masseuse offering everything from Thai to Swedish massage to steam room to manicure or facials, it has everything you could need and is one of the best features of the hotel. The pool is a great size, available for both kids are and a deeper part for the adult, kelts extremely clean and the pool bar is available throughout the day with any drink or food you may need.
Location - perfect location, 10-15 minute walk to the beach, 20 minute walk to bangla road but it is in a quiet enough area to not get bothered about the noise. 7/11 is across the road, as well as barber and plenty of street food. (It’s also an easy place to find for Tuktuk and taxi drivers)
If I had say anything bad it would be the wifi only allows for 1 person at a time to use it, speaking to the hotel manager and he said made me away this is something that is being sorted as they have only recently reopened from the pandemic. But again, this wouldn’t be a major issue for most visitors.
When we arrived they upgraded us to the deluxe room for the same price, this is something they are doing for all guests due to only being partly open. We actually had a few issues with the room but one quick call to the lobby and they arranged for us to move to a better room with king size beds and went all out to ensure we were l happy, even providing us with a free dinner during our stay. (Again, amazing food!)
This is somewhere I’d definitely stay again upon my return to Patong, the staff, amenities, food, location is perfect. Thank you for going the extra mile to make our stay...
Read moreLocation is near to patong beach, you will get all the local transportation from here. All day trips provider pick up free from this location. Check-in I checked in around 2am midnight, the receptionist has welcomed me and ask gate security person to drop my luggage in my room. The sleepy person came put the luggage and left. No one was there to explain about the superior room facilities.
Overall staff was friendly but not able to understand English easily, each time you have to explain them 2 to 3 times for everything.
Then why 3 star? Superior room is sad. ☹️ Although it has all the facilities but it failed in usability and accessibility. When you enter in the washroom it welcomes you with WC and 5 inch space to go inside. Very limited toiletries, shower panel is too small and always chockuped. Same for the bathtub. When I used bathtub it goes chockedup. (Check photos) 📸
Mini bar is empty.. no balcony in the room is like separated from the world. Next to the window large tree and building so no view.
Light switch are not accessible and either you can turnoff your all lights of room or sleep under some lights. There is always instructions for to save hotel and conditions if any loss you have to pay but when no explanation about room facilities. Too much confusing 🤔.
They have placed instructions for how to use netflix and when demanded they said it's not available in your room it's available only in 3 room, then why they placed instructions in superior room? And trust me 90% staff has no knowledge about what is netflix and how it works.
Basic amenities plus smart tv, clean room, is there. Apart from room gym, pool, kids area are there which is common in 3* resort.
Suggestions to management: Give your staff a english course which helps guest. Give a tour of room when guest check in, not every one has same rooms at home. Avoid racisism, specially for Indians, they book your hotel only to have good Indian food. 😡 For card payment you can pay if it's above 1000 TBH else 3% charge.
Reception staff behave so rude while checkout.
Overall its a okay stay for me but not worth price. Hospitality must be improved. Teach staff...
