Worst Hotel & Reception ever!! Reception staff don't speak a word of English - they were using Google translate to answer our questions and are extremely rude. No smiles, no welcome, no apology when something isn't working. We arrived at check in and our taxi did not have change for a 1000 thb. We asked reception to give us change for 1000 and they look at us with dirty look and type in their phone and it simply said "no have change". After check in we had no wifi signal in our room so we had to go down again to reception to let them know and another receptionist sees our message on Google translate about the wifi signal and she simply types back in translate "wifi signal not strong" and walks off.. no apology, no trying to fix it.. nothing! Superior room: Please see photos I posted and judge for yourself! The absolute dirtiest room I've been in. Floors had stains everywhere, one corner either had rotting wood from termites or it was insect eggs not sure. Toilet seat had urine stains all over. Dust covered the room from head to toe!! Only 1 bedside table not 2. Windows were filthy. 2x lights were not working. Air-conditioning unit looks like it's from the 1950s and I'm sure they never clean the filters. They only provide bath towels no face or hand towels. When we approached the manager and showed her the photos and told her how her reception staff treated us at check in she didn't apologise she just said I'll change you to another room which is an upgrade to deluxe and I kept insisting to make sure it's clean and she said I'll check it myself don't worry. So I guess she was the best of the worst but an apology with sincerity did not happen. It felt like she gets this kind of complaints all the time she wasn't shocked when I showed her the photos. Speaking of the upgraded deluxe room... it was better than the previous room that's for sure but it was still dirty! Floors had stains, bed sheets had stains, safe didn't turn on, wifi was better signal but would still cut in and out and then to our surprise the next day we turn on the tap in the bathroom and the water comes out brown!! Like actual brown water! We asked for new bath towel and hours passed by nothing until I found a housekeeping attendant and just took a towel from her cart. We asked for our room to be cleaned and for toilet paper at midday, went out and came back at 7pm and nothing! I am literally typing this and counting down the number of days we have left here before we can leave as the booking is prepaid and is during new years so we won't be able to get another decent hotel to move and I'm sure they won't refund us. Do yourself a favour and never ever book this hotel! Ever!!! I had a very bad year taking care of my mum who had cancer and just wanted to relax and enjoy my time in Thailand and thanks to the staff at this "hotel" they ruined my stay! I will never ever come back here and will tell everyone what a horrible hotel this is with the worst staff I ever come across in my life! Attention receptionists: if you don't like people don't work in hotels! If you don't speak English don't work in hotels where people come from all over the world and English is a universal language! Attention hotel owners: fire your reception staff because your hotel will be broke very soon if they keep...

Room: We stayed in a Deluxe Suite King with a balcony and city view for four nights. The room was spacious, well-designed, and the bed was genuinely comfortable. While the property looks new from the outside, the interiors show light aging, likely due to partial renovations. That said, cleanliness throughout was excellent. The air conditioning worked fine but had a slightly quirky setup, both in placement and operation. The balcony, though compact, comfortably fits two people and includes a drying rack for beachwear, a small but thoughtful touch. Overall, the space strikes a good balance between cozy and functional, making it ideal for both short leisure stays and quiet workcations.
Staff: Every staff member we interacted with was polite, warm, and helpful. The service felt genuinely caring without being intrusive, something many higher-end hotels fail to pull off.
Housekeeping / Room Service: Prompt, consistent, and reliable. The room was cleaned well each day, and any requests were attended to swiftly.
Parking: Decent parking space available, always a win in Patong, where it’s usually a headache to find.
Food: Breakfast was included with our stay. The spread offered both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options, plus coffee, tea, juice, fruits, bread, spreads, salad, and egg selections. While everything was fresh, the overall variety felt quite basic for a 4-star property. Still, it’s enough to start the day decently if you’re not expecting a lavish buffet.
Verdict: Elite Suites Patong offers solid value for money, it’s clean, well-maintained, and surprisingly peaceful considering its central location. It’s about a 10-minute walk to Patong Beach and roughly 15 minutes to Jungceylon Mall and Bangla Road. Despite being close to the main road, it manages to stay calm and quiet. If you’re after a tidy, comfortable, and dependable base with polite service and a modern touch, this place delivers exactly what it promises.
Pros: Decent location, spacious rooms, clean interiors, helpful staff, and practical balconies. Cons: Average breakfast for a 4-star, and restaurants/shops are a short walk away. Overall: A dependable mid-range resort offering comfort, convenience, and good value for money. Rating: 4 / 5
PS: Guests must pay a 1,000 THB deposit at check-in. If you can’t pay, the hotel will hold your passport until checkout, and yes, they enforce it strictly. Thankfully, there’s an ATM and currency exchange counter right next to reception,...

It can't be guest's fault if certain hotel staff lacking in English.++ Lady "Gun", a higher ranked manager, is a well-educated person who is present at BF area every morning, welcoming and talking around with guests. She takes notes of guests' opinions and also tries to help, if someone needs any info around the city. She is definitely a valuable resource for this hotel, as well as many nice and smiling staff who are working hard. I...
