Tum nua No. 1 — Restaurant in Patong

From the moment I saw the roast duck in the window I quickly diverted into the restaurant. The air was cooler than normal for once which helps when you’re eating because normally it’s very humid. I was presented with a complimentary miso soup as a starter, it came infused with chicken broth and herby vegetables. For my main dish I ordered roast duck and rice which came pretty quickly, you can even watch the chef prepare it. The house special sauce was also a game changer in the meal as you can could taste the combination of spices and tradition in one spoon, definitely a winner this restaurant is for me, defo...

We were a little bit hesitant because the shop itself does not look as good and as clean as our usual restaurant next to it ( phuketturk) but this one TRULY surprised me the prices are cheaper and portions are bigger too, big pad thai with 4 big shrimps for 50 baht, you can't beat that, mango shake tastes like mango and not artificial also only 50 baht....this is the most affordable restaurant we found it Phuket so far, that tastes good and we have no issues with and it is not a sketchy food stand that my sensitive stomach definitely will not tolerate...highly recommend this and will definitely visit this...

Cheap dining and great food. If you are in Patong, just skip the expensive places by the water, aka night market or market period if you want local food. But do go and see the options you have and fresh fruits and smoothies. Take a short hike or get a scooter or what ever means you travel by and get to here. I was told this is the best Leng Saeb in the area ; it did not disappoint. My wife and I also had their shrimp fried rice and it was the best around town. Found this place towards the end of our trip; wish I knew of it earlier. 4 stars for food and booster...
