For someone like me who misses the honest warm vibe of family comfy food and people - you should definitely give Tana a visit(s)
I've been here since I found their interview in a day magazine (if I remember correctly). The owner family and their food are very warm, kind, and sincere. Every dish is cooked (by mom) and served (by dad and son/daughter) with love. Everytime I come here, I feel the warmth I've craved for from their food&atmosphere. I won't ever hesitate to celebrate my birthday and my loved one's here every year from now on (we did this year and it's very nice). Nothing fancy is needed, only sincere healthy ingredients and kind people that will fill your tummy and heart with pure loving feeling❤ they are the true homecooking gem I wish I live nearby.
Only thing I'm sad is that they're open til around 3pm everyday so i couldn't visit there on working day evenings but only weekend, but even so, I will try to visit as many times as possible!

The food is top notch! My husband had the rice bowl with pork, pickled watermelon (which was amazing btw!), fried shallots and Chinese sausage. It was like a party in your mouth, the flavors melded nicely and it was so delicious.
I had the massaman curry chicken and it was perfect. I ordered it a little less spicy and that was a good choice for me. The chicken was slightly crispy on the outside and very tender. So yummy!
Highly recommend after walking around all morning at Wat Pho...

Quaint but lovely and homey little eatery near Wat Arun serving Thai-Chinese fusion. The hosts (father and son?) were very lovely and would offer their recommendations.
I ordered: 1. Mixed rice with pickled watermelon and Chinese sausage, 2. Pork dumplings with salted egg and 3. The spicy seabass soup (warning: super spicy)
All dishes were delicious, with the sweet-sour-fresh herby profile you’d expect from Thai dishes, along with some twists from the Chinese ingredients.
A must-visit if you’re in the area and they deserve some Michelin...
