Washoku Aji — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Nuea Subdistrict

Washoku Aji is my go-to sushi spot, especially the third-floor location at Big C Ekkamai. The place is massive, with more than enough seating, so you can sit back, relax, and prepare for sushi bliss. Every time I walk in, it’s like stepping into my personal sushi haven.

Let me start with my absolute favorite—the Mebachi Maguro Zuke. One bite, and it’s like I’m sitting in a high-end omakase restaurant. The flavors hit all the right notes: the sauce kicks things off, then the fresh tuna follows, and the whole thing wraps up with a zesty yuzu finish. And don’t even get me started on the Otoro sushi—it’s like a one-way ticket to Osaka. Authentic, rich, and just melts in your mouth.

Now, let’s talk about the Engawa. I love this stuff! It’s buttery, rich, and honestly better than what many other sushi spots serve. Plus, the size of the bite? Perfect. Not one of those tiny pieces that leaves you wanting more. This is the real deal, and it’s easily one of my top recommendations for anyone who loves sushi.

Sure, not everything is perfect. The foie gras is amazing, but a bit chilly—feels like it could’ve used a little sunbathing. And the uni, while fresh, lacks the oiliness that makes it melt in your mouth. But let’s be real, these are small blips in an otherwise stellar experience.

This place is really good! Many tasty Japanese local dishs! I love EVERYTHING!

Chutoro sashimi set - about 600 baht, totally worth it! The sashimi is fresh and high quality. Highly recommended! (Update: I tried 3 times, 1 time is not as good but it’s alright)

Ume zaru soba - I miss plum soba I had in Dazaifu, super glad I found this menu in Thailand! If you like the taste of ume and Shiso leaves then try this!

Cream crab croquette - My complain is that it’s not creamy enough, because it’s got too much crab hahaha. The taste is on the salty savory side not creamy sweet like what you’d expected. But hey, I enjoyed it.

Stir fried eggplant bacon ponzu - YES! I love eggplants and I love citrus freshness! Need rice or something to eat with though.

Coffee jelly - The best coffee jelly I’ve ever tried. The coffee taste complex and high quality, the cream I think it’s just heavy cream with hint of sugar. But, don’t order this in the evening because the caffeine here is rather strong for a dessert.

You can stamp your parking ticket of this building here for 2hrs free parking. Park on 3rd floor for convenience.

Would revisit soon! Couldn’t wait to try other stuffs because they got so many things on their menu.

ร้านอาหารญี่ปุ่นที่ส่วนตัวยกให้ซาชิมิดีระดับต้นๆของราคาเลเวลเดียวกัน 🔥🔥 อยากเทพกว่านี้ ต้องไปเกรดโอมากาเซะแล้ว ( บางร้านโอมากาเซะ วัตถุดิบบางอย่างยังสู้ที่นี่ไม่ได้เลย ) ร้านนี้ ตั้งอยู่ที่ชั้น3ของบิ๊กซี เอกมัย จอดรถที่บิ๊กซีแล้วอย่าลืมไปแสตมป์บัตรจอดรถด้วย ที่จอดมีเยอะหาไม่ยาก

แน่นอนว่า เมนูที่ประทับเสมอของที่นี่ก็คือ ซาชิมิ ✅ ซึ่งที่นี่จะมีให้เลือกหลากหลาย set (ก็เหมือนร้านญี่ปุ่นทั่วไป ) ราคาไม่ถูก 5555 แต่วัตถุดิบ กับปริมาณที่ได้ คุ้มค่า คุ้มราคาครับ ที่นี่ส่วนตัวชอบสายทูน่าเป็นพิเศษ เนื้อสด ชิ้นใหญ่ จริงใจ งานจัดจานพิถีพิถัน สวยงาม ( ตามราคา 😂) มีตั้งแต่ set แบบ หลัก ร้อย ไปจนหลักหลายพัน แต่แนะนำว่า ยิ่ง set ใหญ่ ยิ่งคุ้ม ถ้าชวนเพื่อนไปแชร์กันได้ กด set ใหญ่แบบ 4000 หารต่อหัวมาคุ้มอยู่ครับ

ถึงจะปลื้มซาชิมิที่นี่ แต่บอกเลยว่า ทีเด็ดไม่แพ้กันคือซูชิ 🍣 ฟัวกราส์ ปลาไหล อูนิ โอโทโร่ คือ ของดี สมราคา คำกลางๆ ไม่ใหญ่มาก ถ้าชอบสายนี้ สั่งโลด อร่อยจริง 😋

✅กิวคัตสึ ลองเมนูของทอดบ้าง ตอนเสิร์ฟเค้าจะเอากะทะร้อนมาให้เราย่างต่อด้วย คือ จริงๆ มันพร้อมทานได้เลยอยู่แล้ว ถ้าเป็นชอบมีเดียมแรร์ แต่พอย่างก็จะได้ความสุกเพิ่ม กับความร้อนกรุ่น อร่อยดีครับ ติดตรงอมน้ำมันไปนิดนึง ซึ่งถ้าย่างเพิ่มมันก็จะโอเคขึ้น เมนูนี้คนชอบเนื้อไม่ผิดหวังครับ 😙

✅อีกเมนูที่ประทับใจสุดๆ แต่จำชื่อไม่ได้ แต่ในเมนูมันเขียน ของอร่อย vs ของอร่อย ซึ่งมันอร่อยจริงๆ❗️ แสงออกปากเลยคำนี้ เป็นหอยโฮตาเตะกับอูนิ ห่อสาหร่าย อันนีัเด็ดจัด ห้ามพลาด มา4คำ ตกคำละร้อยกว่าบาท

✅ทีเด็ดอีกอย่าง สำหรับสายดื่ม ที่นี่มีบุฟเฟต์ 480 บาท ดื่มได้ 3 ชั่วโมง มีหมด เหล้า เบียร์ โชจู สาเก ไม่แนะนำให้ข้ามสายพันธุ์ รุ่งขึ้นจะแฮงค์มาก 🤣 แต่โคตรคุ้ม เฉพาะสาเกเหยือกเล็ก ขายแยกก็300 กว่าแล้ว เบียร์ก็เหยือกละ 200 กว่าบาท วันล่าสุดเลยกดเบียร์ไป8แก้ว สาเก1เหยือก 5555

การบริการก็นับเป็นจุดเด่นของที่นี่ครับ พนักงานดูแลกันดีมาก ดีจนต้องทิปเพิ่ม ถึงราคาอาหารจะ บวก service กับ vat อยู่แล้ว อาหาร เครื่องดื่มมาไว แม้คนจะเยอะ ในส่วนตัวร้าน ห้องที่กั้นแยก ถอดรองเท้าเข้าไปนั่ง ไปกี่ที แอร์ก็ไม่เย็น สุดท้ายต้องออกมานั่งข้างนอกทุกทึ 555 หากทางร้านผ่านมาอ่านเจอ ช่วยแก้หน่อย 😆

สรุป ยังประทับใจเหมือนเดิมครับ อาหารดีมาก สมราคา แต่พกไปสัก3-4พันนะ นานๆทีก็เติมเต็มชีวิตดีครับ จะบอกว่า เมนูที่ราคาไม่แพง พวกข้าวหน้าต่างๆ เค้าก็มีนะ แต่พอดี ตั้งใจมากินซาชิมิ แล้วก็ทำบัตรสมาชิก 50 บาท ใช้ส่วนลดบิลได้ 5% ด้วย ถ้ากินหลักกันหลักพัน ทำๆไปเถอะ เดี๋ยวขอเก็บตังสัก2เดือน...
