KHUN-KWAN — Restaurant in Phra Khanong Subdistrict

A cosy little restaurant serving authentic inexpensive local food ran by an affable but overwhelmed Thai aunty.

We found this restaurant because it was next to our lodging. The reason for the poor service mentioned in some reviews could be due that there was only one lady running the store doing everything.

Food was good. But if you are a tourist and don’t speak Thai, I really don’t recommend this place. Because the owner is the most dishonest one I’ve ever seen and she would take advantage of you and try to rip you off. I paid an unreasonable amount for the Tom Yum soup but I wasn’t aware of it until my friend lives nearby told me what their usual price looks like...
