From Toronto to experience an Omakase experience in Bangkok, please do not expected it to be a traditional Omakase but a modern, fusion, enjoyable, awesome Omakase :)
Started with 4 appetizers, all of them were well prepared and diverse. Followed by 10 pieces of amazing main courses, ended with a stunning dessert, also received a surprise new year gift. The whole experience took around 2 hours.
Staff were extremely tentative, everybody were on point. We had a sake bottle, our server would refill us every time when she noticed that it’s not full. Chef would explain every single dish to us what we’re having and how to have it precisely, it was thoughtfulness and made it such an entertaining process of having every single dish. Everybody around the bar table were having a great night with their friends and family also, which also was a great factor that made everybody to have an awesome night.
Considering it is an Omakase experienced in Thailand, not in Japan, I would definitely give this lovely restaurant a five stars, for overall food quailty, combination of different elements, restaurant environment, staff’s initiative.

Read moreBefore my visit I had high expectations from all the google reviews. Unfortunately, my dining experience was just average. The sauce used on the sushi was way too strong and seemed to overpower everything. It was spread on most of the pieces, and there was so much of it that I couldn’t even taste the freshness of the fish. In the end, I requested for my dish to be served without the sauce. Another issue was the way the chef handled the raw fish. It felt like there was too much touching when preparing the sushi, which affected the overall experience. The location is a bit inconvenient, tucked away in a small lane that requires at least a 10-minute walk to reach, which might be off-putting for some. This place is so highly rated by KOLs , it didn’t live up to the hype, especially considering the price they are charging. On the positive side, the atmosphere is quite nice, and the service staff were very attentive, which I appreciated. However, when it comes to the food and overall experience, I think there are better dining options in Bangkok that offer better value for money. In my opinion, it’s not worth...
Read moreThis place is rated too highly by the social influencer. The Omakase was done in a rush. I have never finished one Omakase meal in an hour. There was no interaction with the chef, all he did was just to tell you what is the dish, hard stop all the conversation with the word “Enjoy” (so if 15 dishes, then u will hear 15 times “enjoy”) then he returned to his position to proceed the next dish. Tried to start some conversations with the chef and his reply was cold without further elaboration. The ingredients box is just for display purpose only and all the food given to us was not from the ingredients box. most of the food were prepared ahead, just some torched up when the food was to be served. I don’t see the chef served the food with pride but to rush off the meal. Overall, I will not recommend this place...
