Hua Hin Bird Chili at Night Market — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

We came for dinner 4 people. 3 of us ordered seafood / Thai, which was all ok, without being outstanding. My dad ordered a T-bone steak and when it arrived he noticed that the tenderloin part of it, basically had been removed - he then tried the sirloin side and found that it was chewy and full of cartilage- so basically not edible :-( - this made us tell the waiter and subsequently the manager, only to be told (somewhat rudely) that this was how a t-bone was in Thailand :-) we said that we did not believe we should have to pay for the t-bone and a larger argument ensued - it’s a real shame that our (in our own opinion) very legitimate complaint, was received and treated this way - everyone can have a bad dish leave the kitchen, but the complete refusal to see our side of it or to even have a mature discussion about it seemed like a conscious choice on the part of the management of the restaurant - which is a real shame. Bottom line is that we cannot recommend this place ! Clearly it’s a place for one time tourist diners and the restaurant does not care if people leave satisfied or come...

We have been coming here for well over 10 years, as a family we have spent a great deal of money here. We are welcomed back bla bla bla. So, this one night I didn't eat there but ordered a cocktail while having a massage. I paid 1000 baht to the young lad with glasses and he returned change minus 500 baht. I didn't realise until I went to eat elsewhere. How do I know, I put it in a separate pocket. After eating at another restaurant i didn't have enough money to pay!!!!!!. I did return 3 nights later and told the lady who tries to get you to eat there what happened and she just nodded. No surprise at all, just recognition. She even said you ordered a long island ice tea at the massage. Yes, that's why I'm never coming back to spend a baht here again. Ripped off. Where is the loyalty?. Nowhere as usual. Cocktails are rancid now too, they have started to use cheap spirits. Having asked why they taste so different we were told they can't get the spirits because of covid. What a joke, not the spirits you can buy in tesco lotus...

Excellent seafood and cocktails with poor service. We were first given a table next to a smokey grill and a trash can, so we had them move us inside. The server seemed to want us to order our drinks and food all at once and immediately. When we ordered just our drinks and began looking at the menu, we were completely forgotten. We eventually hailed down a server and placed our order. We then waited about 40 minutes for our food, and they weren't all that busy. The food was very good, but the service and atmosphere really took away...
