Rod Fai Seafood — Restaurant in Prachuap Khiri Khan Province

Chose this restaurant as we heard a from a fellow westerner how good the food was. Food was great. However rude waitress in Chang outfit sat us and proceeded to stand over until we asked her to give us time. Very reasonably priced freah mixed seafood for 450 baht, partner wsd very happy. Main meals came out separately, my partner waited about 10 mins before mine was brought out. I then had to ask for a side I had ordered, that had not arrived. Great food but hectic environment. It seemed like a waitress would seat you and they would be responsible for you which I understand but you could tell others didn't want to help you....

We were ordered big lobster about 2 and half kilo so they cooked half it grilled and another half is baked with cheese and they both dishes were awful! Tested very dry and rough to chewing! The baked cream cheese lobster dish came with a piece of long human hair inside the dish! so we told the server but they only said sorry but still charged us full price of lobster ! and we told them both dishes was terrible but they aren’t doing anything only saying a lot of sorry! The food is great but the hospitality is even more so. We spent around 700baht for a lot of food (a fish dish, an egg dish, a salad, egg fried rice and a vegetable dish). The noticed we liked spicy food so took the initiative to give us extra chili sauce to go with our fish. (From who looks like) the owner gave a free meal to a poor blind person who was hungry. The expression of the poor blind person eating his dish was priceless. I almost cried. The owner of this restaurant is examplary how we should treat each other. With kindness...
