Rude guy with "blonde air" even didn't say hello... The other waiter with eyeglasses when we ask him about to sit in one table, just said "SEE.. BOOKED.. BOOKED ".. One lady from a table said to us " so rude, this guy".. And one gentleman from another table was like me full of hunger..as manners are not on the philosophy of this place.. Lucky this unkindly guy that we are in holidays pre-wedding and my girlfriend keep me calm as I was thinking to show to this "waiter" what does mean "customer service " and be nice and give a great hospitality to customers.. We left immediately before situation getting worse as we just ask if any availability to book for late. The "blonde guy" said yes and disappeared.. One customer sits on the table outside and just said to me, " You were so patient with this kind of rudeness. "... We left without even waiting 2 min more. Last year we came one night for a pizza, food was tasty but faces were nasty.. Yesterday, we had the opportunity to meet the worst customer service and experience of all Hua Hin restaurants. You even can't call "Italian hospitality " this atmosphere... I remember I saw old pictures of an Italian gentleman with this wife, with a happy face.. I think this was the founders of this place.. Unfortunately for him today the place doesn't have the same spirit. As many Italian restaurants are around, instead of offering the best choice to stay ,you offer the best choice to leave Rudeness Italian...
Read moreI stopped for lunch about 1:00 in the afternoon. After previewing the outdoor menu and sitting down the waiter arrive quickly with a menu, and then retreated. When I set my menu down he reappeared rather quickly. After placing my order my cappuccino arrived very soon afterwards. It was then that I started to read the reviews. The mixed bag cited put me on alert. I decided to be a little extra observant, so I did the thing you would do if you want to check on the cleanliness of a place, I headed to the hong nam, bathroom. It was spotless, with 7 disinfect balls in the urinal, and three spare rolls of toilet paper besides the one in the covered holder. When I left the bathroom my hamburger was sitting at the window, and within 20 seconds of sitting down the waiter appeared at my table with it. It was a tasty burger, with fries included. The 145฿ hamburger and fries is what attracted to me here when I saw their sign advertising it after strolling by one evening. My request for mayonnaise for my fries was quickly remedied. The coffee is very good and priced reasonably for Hua Hin. They have a lot of different pizzas, and an extensive Italian food menu, but I can't comment on them because I haven't tried them. I just am not interested in Pizza in Thailand, but I get hamburger cravings every so often and Pizza Da Roberto didn't let me down. The location near the edge of the tourist and beer bar district makes it a convenient place to...
Read moreThe only thing that is good here is the location, but that is not enough to convince as a restaurant. Da Roberto is really the very last thing in terms of culinary if you have no standards at all and have never eaten Italian food in your life even then you would be disgusted. Pizza neapoletana ordered was delivered with flaky consistency like a crispy cookie with cheapest tomato sauce that was already dried out because too little was used for it topped with lots of analog cheese and fake anchovies (never had in Thailand that someone uses fake anchovies for the pizza). Now everyone will ask what are fake anchovies ...? Simply salted fish from unknown fishing grounds and unknown origin. Result saved a lot of money. I think the olives were real. Service was ok got 8.5 Bath tip, I rounded up the bill generously. Conclusion 320 baht cost the pizza because material was used in the value of just under 100 baht if at all, nothing tasted. So you should not be blinded by the location or you drink there only what and then go again, but honestly, the drinks taste good elsewhere and the...
