The main waiter was very stressed and not friendly at all. She didn't welcome us nicely and we had a problem with a peanut butter & jelly toast, which came with bacon and cheese, where she wouldn't change it for us and wouldn't remove it from the bill. She came frustrated to the table and told us "she doesn't have time for problems". It took a whole uncomfortable conversation to then have her order a new one from the kitchen at last, which at that point we said no as we didn't want to order anymore, so we paid for it anyway and left. But maybe we just met her on the wrong day.
Lastly, but MORE IMPORTANTLY, this place has a lovely story of how it started and how the owners love american comfort food. Although I have nothing against this, the menu is full of italian food. Which is fine, I know italian food is the best in the world and it ends up in every menu. The problem I have with this is that the page for Thai food says "Thai food", the page for Italian food doesn't say "Italian food". Which makes me think of CULTURAL APPROPRIATION. Pasta is not american, panna cotta is not american, affogato is not american. As the words say, they are italian dishes. So please don't call this american comfort food. Maybe the NY cheesecake is. Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at this breakfast restaurant in Phuket, and it was an experience that exceeded all expectations. From the moment we stepped inside, we were captivated by the aesthetic charm that surrounded us. The attention to detail was impeccable, and every dish looked like a work of art come to life.
Surprisingly, we discovered an upstairs seating area, adding an extra layer of charm to the already delightful ambiance.
Now, let's talk about the food. Oh, the food! Each bite was a burst of flavor that surpassed anything I had imagined. But the true star of the show was the macaroni dish. It was the epitome of comfort food, with its creamy, cheesy goodness wrapping around every forkful. It was a taste of home in the heart of Thailand.
Without a doubt, this was the best breakfast I had during my time in Thailand. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough – it's a definite 10 out of 10 in my book. If you find yourself in Phuket, do yourself a favor and make sure to pay this gem a visit. You won't be...

Tucked away in a cozy corner of Phuket, Cafe Delight lives up to its name in every sense. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by super friendly staff who made the place feel instantly welcoming. Their English was commendable too, which made communication smooth and easy.
I ordered the black pepper noodles, and they were exactly how I like them—bold, spicy, and bursting with flavour. The heat was just right, warming me up in the best way. I also asked for my coconut coffee to be extra sweet, and it did not disappoint. Creamy, rich, and just the perfect sugar hit for a slow afternoon.
The cafe itself is spotless and thoughtfully arranged. The atmosphere inside is incredibly cozy, making it a great spot to take a breather from the Phuket bustle. Whether you’re here for a quick coffee or a relaxed meal, Cafe Delight is a satisfying stop that makes you...
