Nestled in the vibrant heart of Phuket Old Town, Tapas Café is a delightful gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. From the moment you step inside, the warm ambiance and charming décor set the stage for a cozy meal.
Atmosphere: The café boasts a rustic yet modern aesthetic, with wooden accents and colorful artwork that reflects the local culture. Whether you're sitting indoors or enjoying the outdoor seating, the atmosphere is perfect for a casual lunch or a romantic dinner.
Service: The staff at Tapas Café are friendly and attentive, always eager to recommend dishes and ensure your experience is top-notch. Their passion for food is evident, and they genuinely want you to enjoy every bite.
Food: The menu is a creative fusion of traditional Spanish tapas and local flavors. We started with the classic patatas bravas, perfectly crispy and served with a zesty aioli. The seafood paella was a standout, brimming with fresh shrimp and mussels, and the saffron-infused rice was cooked to perfection.
For a unique twist, try their Thai-inspired tapas—like the spicy tuna tartare served with avocado and lime. Each dish is beautifully presented and bursting with flavor.
Drinks: The drink selection is equally impressive, featuring a variety of wines, cocktails, and local beers. The sangria is a must-try, refreshingly fruity and perfect for sipping on a warm evening.
Value: Prices are reasonable considering the quality of food and service. The portions are generous, making it easy to share and sample multiple dishes.

Read moreGreat Food, Great Service, Great Atmosphere. When we arrived the restaurant was empty, however shortly after is was packed with good energy. It’s a nice cozy restaurant, by the road side. We had the Salmon Avocado bagel, Phuket skillet and The OG. Everything was cooked well and you could tell they use very fresh ingredients almost as if it were farm to table. They then served us a desert that was the anniversary special, where everything used was home made and locally sourced. Definitely worth a try.
We would like to thank the team for their invite to celebrate their 1 year anniversary with them. A big tribute is also for their dedication to work with independents farms, tell their stories and willingness to build a strong community. We hear they got the best free...

We loved Tapas Café. It’s a charming little place with a cozy vibe, perfect for a relaxed evening. The Spanish tapas were delicious—authentic flavors and generous portions. We especially enjoyed the patatas bravas and the garlic prawns.
The staff was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. Cocktails were well prepared, and the wine list was surprisingly good for the area.
Location is also excellent, right in the heart of Old Town with its beautiful colonial architecture. We sat outside and enjoyed the lively atmosphere of the street while sharing our tapas.
Highly recommended if you’re looking for something different in Phuket and want a break from Thai food without sacrificing quality. Great value...
