Dibuk House — Restaurant in Ratsada

Having read some rave reviews while flipping through Phuket blogs led me to this elegantly stylish cocktail bar at the edge of Phuket old town. I was not so much into mixology until recently and that one night @ Dibuk house certainly changed my perception on cocktails. The experience was a revelation and a proof of what to come…possibly the beginning of an endless pursuit of highly acclaimed and classy cocktails around the world. Such was the attention to detail and the explosion of flavors. Even the way to consume each cocktail had to be taught & mastered. I regret not going up over the counter table to witness the bartender passionately working his magic. Rightly so, ‘the Last Samurai’ was probably the best drink I’ve ever had. The laid back atmosphere, gentle music and the generous service was all lost in the swirl and pleasure of celebrating each sip. Surely going back...

Not my first time here, but it’s my last. This place was recommended to me by my co-worker and I’ve recommended to friends and co-workers when they visit Phuket. Now I tell my friends and co-workers to avoid this place.

The place was nearly empty and they gave us stool. After we asked for a chair they said we’d have to give it up if more customers came. We asked y in both English and Thai (native Thai with us).

The man with the mustache and long-ish hair couldn’t answer us and got visibly angry. Looked like he was ready to fight. He eventually stormed off when another worker came by. We can hear him hitting or knocking something over in the back.

Been here in Phuket 5 years and just learned about this place. It's a nice little bar for a casual cocktail. Drinks are unique, staff is friendly and polite, but mostly Thai speaking, however menu is in English and they understand the orders in English if you're not Thai speaking. Prices are a bit on the high side for the location and environment. Not a high classy place, but the prices express such an environment. Between 320-350฿ per drink.

They do NOT serve food, don't be deceived by some photos on Google, it's not here. Staff where confused when I showed them the Salmon on the review pictures.
