We were preparing to leave Banthathong after finishing our meal in the bustling area. After ending our stroll of the area and waiting for the cab to pick us up, we noticed this quaint little eatery selling desserts.

As we had not eaten Mango Glutinous rice on this trip and the ones here looked good, we decided to take away the dessert. The staff took quite a while to prepare our order and we were grateful that we had ordered our dessert once we tried it back at the hotel. One of the best mango sticky rice we had, the mangoes were sweet and the coconut cream + sticky rice had the right amount of sweetness and saltiness. Eyes catching and photo only! Nicely plate decoration, but the most important of food is a freshness made and tastes are missing. It's a shame when you represent Thai desserts in Thailand and lack the freshness and authentic taste of Thai.
