Cool Chinese-themed café with nice decor, but the experience was disappointing. The shop was empty when we visited, and the owner asked if we were Thai — but her attitude made us feel like she wasn’t very nice toward Thai customers. When we asked how the drink would be served, she seemed annoyed, so we didn’t feel comfortable asking more. We were hoping to have our coffee in the traditional Thai old-style (กาแฟโบราณ) way, but just decided to skip it.
The food had to be reheated, which means it wasn’t freshly made, and the drink was overly sweet with no real tea flavor 252 baht for a drink and 3 kinds of dim sum per pics. We were really hoping for better quality and authenticity. It’s a shame because the place has such a lovely concept and atmosphere — but it felt more like a tourist spot than a genuine local café. If more places keep overpricing or lowering quality like this, it will keep pushing tourists and customers away — and sadly, that’s already happening across...

I like mine freshly prepared like those from Singapore. The coffee even though made with condensed milk was extremely bitter and the cups were sticky as if they’d not been cleaned. That might be part of the experience but I found it extremely hard to enjoy. I like to know the cup I’m drinking from is clean.
The location is about 5 minute walk from the Thailand culture station MRT. Just be extremely cautious of the traffic as it’s bit chaotic,...
Read moreThe place is a bit tiny, even with the second floor, and comes in a modern Chinese theme. The atmosphere is quite chill and peaceful, but it'll be better if the staff don't play something loudly disturbing on the phone. The air conditioning seems to be a lot weaker than Thailand's heat. I personally found the food to be nothing special. Though the fried mantou was slightly crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, it was just okay. The toast was ordinary and not even served hot; as a result, my 35 Baht had been wasted. Although the aunty at the counter talked a bit rough, the overall service was alright. P.S. It turned out that the phone on the wall, which I thought to be a decoration, was real and...
